  • The Independent artist spotlight, broadcast 100: Peter Hallens
    Welcome to the 100th episode of the Independent Spotlight show. On this show, we've got Peter Hollens who has a very excellent Christmas album. Several songs are done quite differently, one of the tracks is musical, but the majority of the album is acappella.
    He was originally from Ashland, Oregon, and has played around the world including Carnegie hall. He was the founding member of "On the Rocks" the University of Oregon's acappella group. He's been involved in producing, recording, and judging competitions.
    Besides the Christmas album, he's got several others we'll feature another time.
    The program will also play lots of other holiday tunes and favorites.
