Season 2 Episode 5: This Must Come as a Shock

Summary:
In “This Must Come as a Shock,” we see the aftermath of the Viltrumite attack. Mark stays on Thraxa for two months, helping to rebuild the cities before returning to Earth with his brother Nolan.
At the Global Defense Agency (GDA), things are far from normal. Donald confronts Cecil about his body, only to discover Cecil’s brain has been placed within a robotic endoskeleton after his death. The Guardians’ world is rocked again when they discover a Martian ship heading straight for Earth. This prompts Shapesmith to reveal his true identity as a Martian and warn of a coming invasion by the squid-like Sequids.
Faced with this new threat, Cecil pulls out all the stops. He recruits Mark and Eve, who recommits to heroism with encouragement from Rex. Meanwhile, Rex, Dupli-Kate, and Shrinking Rae find themselves in a deadly confrontation with the Lizard League. The League attempts to hold the world hostage with stolen nuclear missiles, and the fight ends in tragedy. Both Kate and Rae are killed, and Rex is captured by King Lizard after losing a hand in the battle.
Back at the GDA, the situation is grim. The Guardians are drastically outnumbered by the invading Sequids and on the verge of defeat. But just as hope seems lost, a shocking revelation emerges. Allen, who was previously injured, has somehow recovered and now possesses Viltrumite-level strength. Thanks to Thaedus turning off his life support, Allen reveals himself as a Viltrumite rebel. He approaches Mark with a critical mission: to join the Coalition of planets fighting against the Viltrumite Empire.

Summary:

Summary
While being held captive, Reacher learns that Swan never joined Langston and refused to be part of the conspiracy. As a result of his defiance, Swan was murdered, and his harvested body parts were used for DNA evidence to frame him as the designated fall guy. Neagley and Lavoy’s security team successfully break Reacher out of the New Age Facility, allowing him to board Langston’s helicopter. Reacher kills the remaining bodyguard and, as promised, tosses Langston out of the helicopter, freeing O’Donnell and Dixon. The team then heads to the New Age engineer’s house to ambush and kill A.M. Anticipating that Lavoy’s security team was going to assassinate the investigators as the last remaining loose ends, Homeland Security agents arrest Lavoy and the security team after receiving a tip from Reacher prior to his rescue mission. The investigators kill the two remaining New Age employees for their part in the conspiracy by using a Little Wing missile on Langston’s helicopter, with the crash covered up by Homeland Security. The team distributes the $65 million among themselves and the surviving family members of their fallen allies, then goes their separate ways.

Summary
The 2024 Royal Rumble was a professional wrestling event produced by WWE. It was the 37th annual Royal Rumble event and took place on January 27, 2024, at Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg, Florida. The event was broadcast via pay-per-view and livestreaming.
This was the third Royal Rumble held in the Tampa Bay area (following the 1995 and 2021 events), and the second at Tropicana Field. As the 2021 event was held without an audience under the ThunderDome setup due to the COVID-19 pandemic that year, this was the first Royal Rumble at Tropicana Field to have live fans in attendance.

Summary
In 2015, Keiko explains to Cate that she rigged the Titan lure from Operation Hourglass to send a distress signal from the Hollow Earth. They reunite with May and Shaw; Keiko is devastated to learn that decades have passed, and that Bill never returned from his expedition to Skull Island.[b] Tim leaves Monarch after clashing with Verdugo over her refusal to investigate Keiko’s signal and instead notifies Kentaro and Hiroshi. As Shaw and Keiko reconnect the lure to the Operation Hourglass launch vehicle, she reveals her intention to remain behind, but Cate persuades her otherwise. Shaw activates the vehicle, but inadvertently lures an Ion Dragon already present in Axis Mundi. Shaw exits the vehicle to reconnect a cable dislodged by the Dragon. Godzilla emerges through a rift and battles the Ion Dragon, eventually throwing it back through the rift and activating the vehicle. As Keiko struggles to bring Shaw back into the vehicle, he sacrifices himself to allow their escape.
In 2017, at an Apex Cybernetics research station on Skull Island, Hiroshi successfully returns the vehicle to the surface world; he, Kentaro, and Tim reunite with Keiko, Cate, and May. They evacuate as Kong approaches.

Summary
Reacher and his team decide to send Marlo and Jane to a safe place Dixon used to stay in Buffalo. Reacher and Neagley confront Lt. Marsh in his home while Dixon and O’Donnell send Marlo and Jane off in a safe passage. Marsh is killed by Reacher after he reveals Grant, a hitman hired by Langston to take down Russo being alive in a hospital. Reacher and Neagley extract information regarding the buy from Grant after Reacher threatens to burst the balloon in Grant’s bladder by filling it with air. However, Reacher ensures that Grant dies from an embolism as revenge for killing Russo before leaving. They find a hitman disguised as a doctor sent to kill Grant and the hitman is accidentally killed in the fight between him, Neagley and Reacher. Langston reveals to Reacher in a phone call that he has got Dixon and O’Donnell. Reacher lies to Langston that Neagley got killed in the fight with the hitman. Meanwhile, Dixon and O’Donnell are tortured by Langston’s men. Reacher demands Senator Lavoy’s private security team at his disposal. Leaving Neagley outside with a plan, Reacher walks into the New Age Facility alone and surrenders himself as he confronts Langston.
