What happens when a child dies—and chooses not to go with the angel?

In this transmission, Katische Haberfield shares the story of a young girl who was killed during an act of domestic violence, and what she experienced in the moments after leaving her body.

Faced with the choice to cross over, she instead decides to stay—remaining close to her mother in an attempt to comfort her through grief, regret, and addiction. But over time, she comes to understand that some lessons cannot be changed from that place.

She stays until her mother dies.
