Multigenerational travel is on the increase for a number of reasons but there are a some important things to consider so on this week's show travel expert Onanta Forbes will be here to offer up some tips to plan a successful multigenerational trip. And one destination you might want to consider for a multigenerational vacation is the Caribbean island of Grenada so we'll learn all about visiting Grenada. On this week's podcast travel expert Onanta Forbes will join us to share her recent journey to Comox Valley on Vancouver Island. It's a beautiful area of BC to spend a few days at and that's exactly what Onanta did a few weeks ago so we'll get the highlights. And there's been lots of talk about overtourism these days so later in the podcast we'll learn about an area that does not have that problem. It's Turkmenistan in Central Asia, part of the 5 Stan's as they like to call them so we'll chat with the founder of Undiscovered Frontiers, a company that specializes in tours to that area.

Canada is the place to visit this summer for a number of reasons including the Canada Strong Pass that the government introduced a few weeks ago. It lets you enjoy free or discounted admissions throughout the country — from museums to nature to railroads. We spent 5 fantastic days in Chicago last week attending the US Travel Association and Brand USA's annual IPW travel conference. While there I met up with Lisa Nucci, Chief Marketing Officer with Choose Chicago to discuss the sites we experienced and some of the other things Chicago has to offer. I also had a quick chat with Kate Demonte, Director of Sales for the Navy Pier to learn what to experience when visiting the Navy Pier.

According to a recent poll from Flight Centre 7 in 10 Canadians are rethinking their travel choices due to concerns about Overtourism. So on this week's podcast Travel Expert Onanta Forbes will join me to discuss the growing problem of Overtourism.
