Kyle Boberg is a film and documentary assistant editor currently based in Los Angeles, CA. Born in Champaign, IL, he discovered the art of editing as a student at the University of Illinois while working for the Fighting Illini athletic department, getting to cut highlights and packages on AVID and immediately fell in love with the craft of editing.
After graduation, he moved to Houston, TX where he worked for ten years as a producer, videographer and editor for the University of Houston Athletics, the Houston Texans, Great Day Houston and Fort Bend ISD. He also taught high school video production at Manvel High School.
Kyle then moved to Los Angeles in 2021 to make the transition to tv and film, working as an assistant editor for independent features Who Invited Them, Blood Relatives, The Donor Party, Nuked, Shelby Oaks, and three documentary features.
In his spare time, Kyle likes being active, exploring the outdoors, attending live comedy shows with his girlfriend Ryan, and observing the mysterious lives of his two cats.
