Most people try to change their lives without changing the nervous system that built the struggle. This conversation reveals why “baseline” is the real starting point for healing, and why mindset alone keeps falling short when your body is still bracing for impact.
Howie and Kaylyn Rutkowski of PureMind break down what it actually means to shift out of survival programming and into a steadier, more resourced way of living. Using a raw client story as the launch point, they show how someone can move from suicidal ideation and pure survival into joy, aliveness, and rediscovering who they really are.
You’ll discover:
Howie and Kaylyn also unpack one of the most freeing ideas in the episode: discomfort is not a moral failure. Fear, jealousy, numbness, and contraction are often signals, not proof that you are broken. When you learn to stay present with those signals rather than abandoning yourself, your baseline begins to settle and your capacity expands.
If you’ve been trying to think your way into a new life but keep hitting the same wall, this episode offers a different path. It’s especially relevant if you’re in a season of burnout, healing, emotional intensity, or transition, and you’re ready to stop resisting your reality and start working with your body instead.
Perfect for anyone who wants more than motivation and is ready for the deeper work of becoming someone who can actually hold the life they’re asking for.

Is ketamine really the thing that heals you?
Do you need an intense journey for it to "work"?
Is ketamine simply a way to escape reality?
In this episode, Howie and Kaylyn from PureMind unpack some of the biggest misconceptions surrounding ketamine therapy and altered-state healing.
Together, they explore what actually creates lasting transformation and why the medicine itself is only one piece of the process.
Drawing from thousands of client experiences, they discuss why healing isn't found in chasing bigger experiences, but in cultivating greater presence, nervous system capacity, and the willingness to integrate what emerges long after the session ends.
Whether you're considering ketamine therapy, currently in treatment, or simply curious about the healing process, this conversation offers a grounded, honest perspective on what lasting change truly requires.

In this episode of The Integration Code, we explore a powerful and often overlooked truth about healing.
You’ve likely heard that healing is not linear, that it moves in a spiral. That you will revisit the same wounds, patterns, and emotional experiences from deeper levels of awareness.
But what if the spiral is not just bringing you back to your pain?
What if it is also bringing you back to your gifts?
In this deep and activating conversation, we explore how trauma and survival patterns do not only create emotional wounds but also interrupt your authentic self-expression.
As you move through nervous system healing, somatic work, and deep inner transformation, you are not just processing the past. You are reclaiming your voice, your creativity, your intuition, and your natural way of being.
This episode reframes healing as a process of self-reclamation, embodiment, and remembrance.
If you have ever felt like you are going in circles on your healing journey, this episode will offer a new perspective that shifts you out of frustration and into deeper understanding.
This Episode Explores:
• Why healing is not linear and how the spiral of healing actually works
• The difference between revisiting wounds and reclaiming your authentic self
• How trauma interrupts your voice, creativity, and self-expression
• The connection between nervous system healing and authentic embodiment
• Why healing can feel disorienting as your true self begins to return
• How to recognize when your gifts are coming back online
• A new way to approach recurring patterns with compassion and awareness
• How to shift from “fixing yourself” to reclaiming who you truly are
If this episode resonated with you, take a moment to reflect on what is asking to be reclaimed within you.

There is a deeper distortion moving through the world right now. Not just political. Not just cultural. Not just personal...
Something more subtle.
More foundational.
In this episode, I share a reflection that came through in a moment of stillness. A recognition that so much of what we are witnessing is not just chaos but the result of a missing presence.
The absence of the Mother.
Not as a person but as an intelligence. A way of relating to life that teaches reverence, feeling, and connection.
We speak often about strength.
About leadership.
About structure.
But what happens when power develops without reverence?
What happens when human beings are never taught how to stay in their bodies...
How to feel, how to listen, how to be in relationship with life itself?
This conversation explores
• the deeper root beneath collective disconnection
• the role of the feminine in shaping reverence for life
• how the absence of this presence shows up in our world
• the quiet grief many people are carrying without language
• the subtle but powerful return that is already happening
This is not a teaching.
It is a remembering.
An invitation to slow down, to feel, to listen, and to begin restoring relationship with your body, your life, and what is sacred.

Everyone talks about the quantum leap. The breakthrough moment. The sudden shift where everything changes. Very few people talk about what comes before it.
In this episode of The Integration Code, Kaylyn explores the often misunderstood phase that precedes real transformation. The slowing. The pause. The moment where clarity fades, motivation drops, and the old ways stop working before the new way fully arrives.
This episode reframes the “quantum stall” not as failure or regression, but as a necessary recalibration of the nervous system. A threshold where identity reorganizes, safety is renegotiated, and insight has the opportunity to become embodied rather than bypassed.
If you have ever felt stuck right when you thought things were about to move forward, this conversation is for you.
• Why the quantum leap is often misunderstood
• What the “quantum stall” actually is and why it happens
• How the nervous system prepares for real change
• Why motivation and clarity often drop before transformation
• Why people abandon themselves in the pause
• What actually supports sustainable change
• How to stay present at the threshold instead of rushing past it
• Listeners craving embodiment over peak experiences
• Those who want change that lasts, not just insight

The Psychedelic Renaissance Has an Integration Problem
We’re living in a time of unprecedented access to expanded states of consciousness. Experiences are becoming mainstream. Conversations are louder than ever.
And yet, many people are quietly asking the same question...
Why didn’t my breakthrough actually change my life?
In this episode, Kaylyn names the missing piece most people aren’t talking about: integration, embodiment, and relational safety.
This is not a critique rooted in fear or opposition. It’s a grounded, honest reckoning with the reality that expansion without embodiment often leads to dysregulation, fragmentation, and dependency—rather than healing.
This conversation is for those who feel the call to depth, integrity, and responsibility in conscious inner work.
Why the current wave of expanded-state work is moving faster than the nervous system can integrate
How novelty and peak experiences are often mistaken for healing
The difference between insight and embodied change
Why embodiment—not awareness alone—is what allows truth to land
The real risks of medicine without relationship or follow-up
How facilitation is about presence and regulation, not performance
Why slow, relational, integration-first work creates lasting transformation
What it actually means to “do the work” beyond the experience itself
Access does not equal readiness
A state can show you truth, but only a regulated body can live it
Expansion without containment leads to leakage
Healing is not a moment—it’s a relationship with your nervous system over time
Integrity, not intensity, is what this renaissance truly needs
Those who feel disillusioned after powerful experiences that didn’t integrate
Practitioners, facilitators, and space-holders who care about safety and responsibility
Seekers who are done chasing novelty and ready to build real capacity
Anyone sensing that something essential has been missing from the conversation
Kaylyn is a somatic practitioner and facilitator specializing in integration-first, nervous-system–based conscious inner work. Her approach emphasizes embodiment, safety, and relational depth—supporting people to not just access expanded states, but to live differently because of them.
Her work is designed for those who are ready to move slowly, responsibly, and with discernment—honoring the body as the true site of integration.

There is a side of healing work that almost no one talks about. The exhaustion that doesn’t come from doing too much, but from disappearing while you do it. The projections that quietly place you on a pedestal.
The unspoken pressure of being the one who holds, witnesses, regulates, and stays steady while others fall apart.
In this episode of The Integration Code, Kaylyn goes into the terrain that most healing spaces avoid — the inner world of the healer, guide, facilitator, and space-holder.
This is not a conversation for beginners.
This is for those who sit at the edge of other people’s nervous systems.
In this transmission, Kaylyn explores how holding space is not just a role, but a neurological, emotional, and spiritual experience — one that can either deepen embodiment or slowly erode it if left unintegrated.
You’ll hear about:
• Why many healers feel chronically tired, numb, or hollow even when they love their work
• How projection and attachment form when people open in vulnerable or expanded states
• The subtle way being “needed” can become a form of nervous-system regulation
• Why power without integration leads to unconscious harm — even in well-intentioned spaces
• The difference between charisma and true embodied leadership
• How spiritual inflation, savior complexes, and boundary erosion quietly emerge
• Why integration is not just for clients — it is an ethical responsibility for anyone who guides others
• What it really means to be “held” as a healer
• And why no one can safely hold others while abandoning themselves
This episode also weaves in Kaylyn’s own lived lessons as a somatic practitioner and facilitator — the moments where she realized that competence is not the same as embodiment, and that the most dangerous healers are not the cruel ones, but the unconscious ones.
This is a conversation about power, projection, nervous systems, and the invisible contracts that form between those who guide and those who seek.
If you are a therapist, coach, facilitator, guide, medicine-worker, or anyone who regularly holds space for others, this episode invites you into a deeper layer of responsibility — not to be perfect, but to be integrated.
Because the deepest truth of this work is simple..
You cannot hold others safely,
If you are not holding yourself.

Every year, as the clock strikes midnight on January 1st, an invisible pressure descends...
Be better.Do more.
Fix yourself.
Become someone new.
In this episode, we slow down and question a narrative that has quietly shaped how so many people relate to growth, healing, and self-worth.
The “New Year, New Me” mentality may sound motivating on the surface but underneath, it often reinforces the belief that who you are right now isn’t enough.
This conversation is an invitation to step off the hamster wheel of striving and return to something far more honest, embodied, and sustainable.
In This Episode, We Explore:
Why “New Year, New Me” Is Often Rooted in Lack
Rather than inspiring true growth, the pressure to reinvent ourselves at the start of the year often comes from an underlying frequency of insufficiency. When change is driven by “I’m not enough yet,” it creates urgency, self-criticism, and chronic striving—not liberation.
The Hidden Cost of Performance-Based Healing
We unpack how hustle culture has quietly rebranded itself as wellness, spirituality, and self-optimization. Even conscious growth can become performative—focused on appearing healed, regulated, or evolved instead of being honest and embodied.
Why Reaching Goals Doesn’t Always Feel the Way We Expect
Many people reach the body, income, relationship, or recognition they were chasing—only to feel underwhelmed or empty. This episode explores why that happens and how it’s often not the goal that’s wrong, but the orientation behind it.
Alignment vs. Reinvention
True growth doesn’t come from asking “Who should I become?”
It comes from asking “What isn’t actually me?”
We explore how alignment is less about adding more and more and more about undoing what never belonged to you in the first place.
The Ancient Wisdom Behind Winter and Rest
January was never meant to symbolize rebirth. In nature, this is a time of stillness, quiet, and restoration. We reconnect with earth-based wisdom that honors cycles, rest, and dark incubation and how modern culture’s push to bloom in winter disconnects us from our bodies.
Why Your Nervous System May Be Asking for Slowness
Your body does not operate on calendar years. It operates on safety, capacity, and timing. If you feel inward, tired, reflective, or resistant to “doing more” right now, this episode reframes that not as failure but as intelligence.
What It Means to Grow by Undoing, Not Becoming
Rather than forcing transformation, we explore how telling the truth in your body, choices, and relationships creates natural coherence. From that place, opportunities don’t need to be chased...they arrive.
And so much more - Let's dive in!

There’s a part of healing almost no one prepares you for.
Not the trauma. Not the survival years. Not even the moment everything breaks open....
The part that catches people off guard is what happens after the breakthrough, when life finally begins to soften, and the body doesn’t know how to live there.
In this episode of The Integration Code, we delve into the often-misunderstood experience that follows major healing openings: the contraction, the dip, and the quiet unraveling that can lead people to question whether something has gone wrong.
Rather than framing this as regression or failure, this conversation reframes post-breakthrough contraction as a natural and intelligent part of the integration process.
When a nervous system has been shaped by years of survival, chaos becomes familiar. Hypervigilance becomes structure. Bracing becomes identity. So when safety, peace, or joy finally arrive, they can feel strangely threatening. The body doesn’t immediately relax into goodness; it scans for danger. It waits for collapse. It tightens around what once kept it alive.
This episode speaks directly to that moment.
We talk about why healing often gets quiet instead of euphoric, why expansion is frequently followed by contraction, and why the nervous system pulls back not because something went wrong, but because it needs time to recalibrate.
Expansion shows us what’s possible. Contraction teaches us what’s sustainable. Integration lives in the space between the two.
We also explore the grief that surfaces after awakening, the mourning that arises when you finally feel safety and realize how long you lived without it. This grief isn’t a sign the work didn’t work. It’s evidence that the body now has enough capacity to tell the truth.
Rather than chasing another breakthrough or peak experience, this episode invites a deeper question:
Can your nervous system learn to live in the life you’ve already opened into?
Can it hold peace without armor?
Can it experience goodness without bracing for loss?
Integration, as we explore here, isn’t about staying expanded forever. It’s about learning how to stay with yourself through every phase, including the contraction. It’s about convincing the body that the dragons are gone. It’s about letting yourself arrive.
If you’re in a space where things are objectively better, but your system hasn’t caught up yet, this episode offers language, validation, and a gentler map forward.
Nothing has gone wrong.
You’re not collapsing.
You’re integrating.
And that’s where real healing begins.
