Adrian takes advantage of a couple weeks off of work by taking his first-born son, Ruben, up to Waimea Bay on the North Shore of Oahu for a little chillaxin and diggin holes. They have the longest conversation they've ever had: life, love, marriage, religion....they solve it all.

Adrian fires up his 'Cali Caliente Adventure' series with his 5-yr old, Ruben, in beautiful Ventura County, where we get to know his sister Nydia's boyfriend, Joby, a first-generation Syrian-American. We learn some fun, useless facts about Ventura while overlooking the California Coast and also about Joby's perspective on being the son of two Syrian immigrants. We then transition to really getting in touch with our Arab roots with some serious Hookah time. Get ready to know more than you've ever wanted about smokin hookah while two dudes make fun of each other.

Adrian was overjoyed to learn that mormon missionaries were standing outside of the Book of Mormon Musical handing out the actual book of mormon. We get to hear their rationale for deciding to do that as well as learn a little about a day in the life of a mormon missionary. Adrian challenges a couple of the claims of Joseph Smith regarding native americans being descendants of people that sailed from Jerusalem c.600 BCE, as well as other things that never happened. We also get to hear a 72 yr old missionary come tell Adrian to leave them alone. Adrian works his charm and we get to hear even more baseless faith claims. Leave your critical thinking skills at the door and just let it all wash over you.

Adrian is welcomed to the home of one of the loveliest of the white people, author and environmentalist, Stuart. We learn a little about Stuart growing up in the south and about some of the work he now does as regional manager for the Hawaii chapter of the Surfrider Foundation. Stuart also authored thee biography of Hawaii's surfing legend and waterman, Eddie Aikau, and he tells us how cool it was to be at the most recent Quicksilver Eddie Aikau big-wave surf competition with the Aikau family. Adrian goes to the Hawaii state capitol to crash Franklin Graham's prayer rally. We get to hear Franklin Graham, son of evangelist Billy Graham, long for a time when most americans were white, protestant christians who got to exert overwhelming dominance over our culture and politics, and when politicians were proud to base laws on the old testament. ...you know, the good ol days. He also warns us of the evil threat of secularism. Its hilarious! Adrian also talks to a guy with a huge wooden cross who replaced his cocaine addiction with a whole lotta jesus!!

Adrian sits down with one of the ex-muslims, Marisa, who tells us about being raised as a muslim girl in Tennessee and running away from home at 13, just to get things started. After talking a little Married-with-children, Marisa shares with us a pretty novel 'growing up' story, but before things could get productive, Adrian just proceeds to sh*t on islam. Things stay weird, but then they almost go ahead and solve that whole ISIS thing. ....almost.

Adrian is happy to be back in the San Fernando Valley to sit down with his cousin Ozzie to bust balls n crack wise. Ozzie was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis and he tells us about what that has meant for him as a man and the father of two little girls. They reminisce just a bit, Adrian makes fun of his tattoos and religion, and takes advantage that Ozzie is hopped up on meds. Ozzie talking about ending up handy-capable is not completely depressing as he tells us about a new treatment he had just started to help his body rebuild. Here's hopin.

Adrian is quite excited that one of his favorite musical artists, Chris Murray, accepted his random Facebook invitation to do some pod! We sit down with Chris at a park bench in Honolulu with a six pack and we talk story. We learn about Chris growing up in Toronto, playing the reggae around the world and some of his broader views on some aspects of society. The guy is wise beyond his years. We also take a break to hear a couple sweet jams off the Chris Murray Combo album Why So Rude.

Adrian is happy, but a little reluctant, to get schooled on the whole GMO/Pesticide thing going on in Hawaii. His friend, The Ag-tivist, Ashley, is the Director at the Hawaii Center for Food Safety and she tells us about the influx of chemical-agricultural companies taking up prime Ag land and spraying pesticides near schools.  ...so Alooooooo-ha!  Ashley also tells us about the unique role Hawaii plays in this whole debate and updates us on the current legal battle taking place on Maui. She has some great insight into a debate that just got a whole lot less complicated. 

Adrian is stoked to join one of Honolulu's premier comedians, Jose Dynamite, at the ever-so-awesome O'Toole's pub to talk about waaaaaay too much, starting with his successful stand-up career, as an appetizer. ...Jose Dynamite then plops some serious parenting "knowledge" onto Adrian's lil head, most of which is unethical, but that doesnt matter to either of these rediculous dads. Get ready to learn nothing you've ever wanted to know about raising stepkids, GD teenagers, and how hard to hit them. Jose is also the intertron's youngest GRANDPAS, so there's also some useless knowledge for all you future grandparents out there...
