Three years quiet, then one obedient yes and we are back. I’m Nicole Hubb, and I’m returning to the Intentional Woman Podcast without breadcrumbs or buildup because obedience is the point, and it is also the path. We’re starting a brand new devotional series, 31 Days of Obedience, created for women of faith who want to live with consistency, clarity, and a steady heart toward God.
Day 1 is all about obedience to the call. We sit with John 14:15 that loving Jesus empowers obedience. That single shift changes everything: obedience is not legalism, punishment, or spiritual rule keeping. It is love in motion. I also ground “the call” in what every Christian shares, not just a ministry role, but a life that glorifies God and enjoys Him, shaped by Jesus’ commandments in Matthew 22 to love God fully and love our neighbor as ourselves.
I share a personal story about finally giving God my yes in college, even though I knew it would cost me something. If you’ve been hesitating because obedience feels risky, you are not alone. We talk about counting the cost of discipleship, trusting that God does not waste pain, and leaning on Scripture like Romans 8:18 and Jeremiah 29:11 when your faith is being stretched. We close with prayer for strength, courage, and the grace to keep loving when life makes it hard.
If this encouraged you, subscribe, rate, and review, then share it with another woman who needs a fresh yes. What is one area where God is asking for your obedience today?
