Coming out of Surfside and getting stuff off my chest.

Parked outside a Lowe’s and before I went in I had to get this off my chest. We say we want to be United but then our actions and words speak differently. Where’s the University of Hard knocks at? We supposed to be United in diversity. As best we can, this goes individually, we have to live in peace with one another. In order to do that, there has to be an accord. A common ground.

In this episode my good friend and student, Joseph, joins me in talking about trigger words or situations in life. There’s a part they we discuss the Hoover Dam and I reference a Bible verse but I paraphrased it. Here’s the verse: “The beginning of strife is like letting out water, So abandon the quarrel before it breaks out.”

In this episode I talk about life. Straight up. I want to share as much as possible what has God done for my life. How He has saved me from the pit of darkness. From being born and raised in New York, Flushing, Queens. On a street named Ash Ave. Humble beginnings. My father Camilo being born in Puerto Rico and coming to the states at 16. My mom Isabel born in the Dominican Republic and moved with her sister to NY. That’s another episode. But this is life and all it’s intricacies. This episode goes hard into what is going on in someone’s heart. Are you full of love and peace or are you full of loneliness and despair? Many of us are at the precipice of hanging from a thin thread. Well there is hope! A Hope that when I was in my darkest of days I was Intercepted from the clutches of the enemy. You see, we are so used to seeing with our eyes that we forget to see with our spirit. We are spirit beings in a body for a moment in time but time is running out. Do you know the Good Shepherd who brought me to green pastures? (Psalm 23). Do you know the Way, the Truth and the Life? (Book of John). Allow me to take you on a journey into the deepest parts of your heart. Where only God knows you to the cellular level and made you fearfully and wonderfully. Unique in all your ways but yet there might be an emptiness in your heart that you’re trying to fill. You fill yourself up with so much yet never satisfied. Why? Because you are looking in the wrong place. This episode is a mild but yet profound wake up call into a life you were destined to live. Filled with peace, joy and happiness.
