On the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the release of Reservoir Dogs, Nitin and Dodi go deep into the life and times of Quentin Tarantino, and his dazzling career. Isn't it fitting that a QT retrospective is available in two chapters (or should we say volumes)! The first part of this conversation covers QT the director vs QT the writer, thoughts on Quentin’s chapter approach, and the distinctive dialog writing. It also touches upon QT’s cinema-as-saviour thesis, and how he celebrates his influences while giving them a distinctly QT touch.
