In my twenties, after graduating as a dentist at the University of the Andes, I had to go to my father’s land in New York and prove my skills there.

In my thirties, I created a Digital Marketing Dentistry Agency exclusively for Dentists but traded it for the discovery of Digital Dentistry and the scope and reach that it can have."

Dr. Leonardo Marquez graduated as a Dentist from University of Guadalajara, Mexico in 2015. After years of sacrifice and effort, he was accepted at the University of Michigan ITDP (Internationally Trained Dentist Program), where he is currently a D4 Student, with an expected DMD graduation date in May 2023. Dr. Marquez was recently accepted in a Prosthodontics Residency Program in Chicago, with a start date of July 2023.

Dr. Martha L. Forero is an Assistant Professor at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine (TUSDM) in the Department of Public Health and Community Service and Department of Pediatric Dentistry. She is the Director of the Josiah Quincy school-based dental clinic and a Co-Director of the Pediatric Community Service-Learning rotation. 

She was born in Bogota, Colombia, obtained her DDS at the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana, her M.S. in Pediatric Dentistry at the University of Michigan, her RDH degree at Middlesex Community College, and is currently enrolled in a Master of Public Health program with an emphasis on dental public health at A.T. Still University.

Dr. Forero is a Fellow of the International College of Dentists

She participated at ADA Institute for Diversity in Leadership Class of 2019-2020. She is a past-president of the Massachusetts Hispanic Dental Association (2020). 

Dr. Forero is the faculty advisor for the Hispanic Dental Association Student Chapter at TUSDM.

Hi folks! My name is Dr. Leonardo “Leo” Koerich

I grew up in the southern part of Brazil, in a city called Florianópolis with a large, very close family all living pretty close by.

I would never have thought that I would be the one in my family to leave the country and end up in North Carolina, but life takes us on some unexpected journeys sometimes, especially when you meet a special person!

I completed my first dental degree at Federal University of Santa Catarina, which is in Florianopolis, Brazil. After graduating, I was invited to complete a one-year Post-Doc Fellowship at the Department of Orthodontics at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill, where I also met my wife, Lindsey.

Upon completion, I received a full scholarship for residency in Orthodontics at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro in Brazil, the first and most respected orthodontic residency in the country.

After graduating, from the orthodontic program, I moved to Charlotte, got married to Lindsey, and then shortly after, completed the second round of dental school at Virginia Commonwealth University.

I currently work as a general dentist with my practice limited to orthodontics. I am a strong believer that patient care starts by listening and understanding people’s concerns and desires, and my goals are to connect with people and to deliver a beautiful smile.

When I am not in the office, you can find me teaching my kids how to play soccer, eating at the Brazilian bakery, and hanging out with my family.

Andreina Bracho, D.D.S. 
Pediatric Dentist

Dr. Andreina Bracho received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Universidad Central de Venezuela in 2009. She worked as a general dentist for a few years before pursuing her specialty. During that time, she discovered her love for pediatric dentistry.

She completed her pediatric residency at Tufts University in Boston, Massachusetts, receiving two awards at her graduation – clinical achievement and performance in orthodontics. She is always eager to learn more in order to provide exceptional care and a pleasant experience for her patients.

Dr. Bracho is a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, American Dental Association, Florida Dental Association, Florida Academy of Pediatric Dentists and the Pan-American Dental Society.
She is currently board eligible in her pediatric specialty.

Dr. Bracho is originally from Caracas, Venezuela, but she now calls Orlando home. She is fluent in both Spanish and English. When not treating patients, Dr. Bracho loves to spend time with her husband and family. She can easily be found at the beach, practicing yoga, riding her bike, or just relaxing while enjoying a good movie

Mario F. Romero is the Director of Romero Dental Seminars. He received his DDS degree from the University of Guayaquil (Ecuador) School of Dentistry in 1995. He then completed a two year Advanced Education in General Dentistry Program at the University of Rochester, Eastman Institute for Oral Health where he was granted the Handleman Award for Excellence. 

In 2001 he was named one of the “Most Prominent Dentist” by the Ecuadorian Dental Federation.  In 2016 he received the American College of Dentist Outstanding Faculty Award. In 2019 he received the Excellence in Dental Education Award from Pierre Fauchard Academy.

He has published several research papers as well as many clinical articles in operative dentistry, occlusion, implant and esthetic dentistry. He has over 100 lecture presentations and hands-on courses at many major dental meetings, nationally and internationally and has been practicing restorative dentistry for over 27 years treating complex cosmetic and implant cases. He currently practices in beautiful Cape Coral Florida.

Dr. Callan retired from the faculty of his alma mater in December 2019.  Dr. Callan is a dental education consultant and continues to conduct research on the application of digital technologies in the education of health professionals. 

Donna Armstrong- Board Member. Donna has been leading the design and operation of business services her entire career. Her career has been focused on providing business services that balance operational efficiency and world-class customer experience. She uses her detailed orientation for results to ensure all dental simulation educational courses are properly tested and delivered at all educational centers with a passion for her customers. Donna has been hands on with PDS customers since the inception of our first simulation center.

Jerry Cooper, DMD, FAGD- Board Member. Upon graduation from the Medical College of Georgia School of Dentistry, Dr. Cooper returned home and started his private practice in Trenton, GA. He served patients from the tri-state area providing comprehensive dental care for thirty years before deciding to enter academics.  Dr. Cooper served on the faculty of his alma mater from 2006 until the end of 2019.  He also maintained a very active dental practice within the school, treating patients from all walks of life.  He was a strong student advocate, constantly and consistently working for students’ right to a complete educational experience. He received various awards including, the American College of Dentists Professionalism Award multiple times and the prestigious Judson C. Hickey Award for outstanding teaching.

Dr. Daniel Oreadi DMD, OMFS

Dr. Oreadi earned his dental degree at the Universidad Central of Venezuela and completed the Advanced Graduate Education in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery program at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Oreadi then completed a fellowship training in head and neck Oncologic and Reconstructive Surgery at the University of Tennessee Medical Center in Knoxville. Currently, Dr. Oreadi is an assistant professor in the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at TUSDM and a staff member at Tufts Medical Center where he holds operating room privileges. 

He is recognized for his expertise in the diagnosis and management of oral and maxillofacial surgery pathology and reconstruction with training in microneurosurgery of the trigeminal nerve. He has authored multiple articles published peer review journals as well as book chapters in his specialty. He is also a reviewer for the pathology and reconstruction section of the Journal of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and a section editor of the parameters of care of his specialty. Additionally, he is an avid Futbol (soccer) fan.

Dr. Rodrigo Sanches Cunha

Dr. Cunha completed his Undergraduate Dental Degree in 1994, which he obtained from the Catholic University of Campinas in Sao Paulo - Brazil.  His postgraduate studies include a Specialty degree in Endodontics obtained in 1997 from the State University of Campinas (UNICAMP); in 2002, a M.Sc. degree in Clinical Dentistry (Endodontics), and in 2006, a Ph.D. degree in Dental Sciences both of which he received from Sao Leopoldo Mandic Centre for Dental Research. In 2011, Dr. Cunha moved with his wife (Andressa) and three daughters (Leticia, Larissa and Helena) to Winnipeg to work as a Full-time Professor at the College of Dentistry, Faculty of Health Sciences at the University of Manitoba.  

Dr. Cunha became Fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada (Endodontics) in 2013 and, in 2016, decided to work in Private Practice full-time. Dr. Cunha joined Dr. Simona Pesun as the founders of Prairie Endodontics in 2018. Dr. Cunha has been a guest speaker at more than 200 events worldwide. Dr. Cunha has published more than 100 papers and abstracts in several peer reviewed journals and six book chapters and has extensive clinical experience obtained working in Private Practice limited to Endodontics since 1995. 

Dr. Cunha is a real Winnipeg Jets fan and enjoys watching sports, swimming and enjoying his family during his spare time.
