Eyal Yanilov was the closest assistant to the founder of Krav Maga, a comprehensive system encompassing self defence, combat and fighting, and third-party protection. Its practical techniques and tactics can be applied to a wide range of violent confrontations, and are being taught by more than 1500 active instructors globally.

Mr Yanilov recently came to the Island and taught a seminar at the invitation of Jersey Krav Maga, but first, he stopped by the studio for this Bailiwick Podcast episode. Reporter James Jeune spoke to him about everything from knife defence to mental training, and why Krav Maga is something that everyone should learn.
