Welcome to our first episode of The Irish Makers Podcast! We will be discussing the world of conventions and cosplay, from humble costumes and sewing, to 7 foot behemoth dragons.
Marie-Therese a.k.a. Empty Cosplay: She started cosplaying in 2018. Her first cosplay was Maiev Shadowsong (pronounced My-ev) from the online game World of Warcraft, which won the Best Craftsmanship award at Dublin Comic Con: Anime Edition 2018. Since then she has won numerous awards for her cosplays and has been asked to be a guest and judge at conventions throughout Ireland.

Meg a.k.a Without a Stitch Cosplay She began 'officially' cosplaying 2014, however feels she cosplayed her whole life before she knew what cosplay was. She started making her own Halloween costumes when she was 8. In 2001, after completing a Bachelors of Art in theatre and costume design, she moved to Ireland and continued to pursue her creative passions which often focus on sewing and fibre arts. She has judged cosplay competitions in Ireland, including Dublin Comic Con, since 2015. - https://linktr.ee/withoutastitch
Eimear O’Connor a.k.a Obsidian Dragon Creations She started cosplaying in 2015 and enjoys combining her passion for engineering with the costume creation process. Her first cosplay was Chell from Portal 2 but she soon became better known for her dragon quadsuit of Cynder from The Legend of Spyro.
