The lads are back again to chat through all things Premier League, looking back at this weekend’s games. We look at who’s really in the race for top 4 and relegation as Arsenal fell limply to Liverpool whilst Tottenham threw away yet another lead, this time to Newcastle as Fino tips them to stay up. West Ham continue to keep their Champions League dream alive as Everton fell back in their draw to Crystal Palace.
International Break is finally over and the Premier League is back for the home stretch. We know City will be champions but who’s getting Top 4? Europa League? And who’s staying up? We talk about this weekend’s games including the tasty Leicester vs. Man City and Arsenal vs. Liverpool, whilst we discuss Sergio Aguero's legendary Premier League status and the potential conspiracy that Newcastle are getting relegated on purpose.
The lads discuss the four Premier League games that happened this weekend as Bamford fired Leeds to a deserved win over Fulham, and ask why isn’t Bamford in the England squad for EURO 2020? Newcastle’s issues compound as they limped to a 3-0 loss to Brighton and Steve Bruce’s peg becomes increasingly shaky.
Fino caught up with Celtic treble-winning goalkeeper Jonathan Gould for a trip down memory lane as we look back at his transfer from Bradford to Celtic, discuss the characters in the Celtic dressing room, as well as his time coaching down in England and with Rangers adversary, Ian Ferguson at Perth Glory. Jonathan tells us stories of Craig Brown's France World Cup 1998 motivational team talk before Scotland vs Brazil at the Stade de France, as well as his thoughts on Scotland's Euros chances against England, Croatia and Czech Republic.
The four lads are back again to discuss the Premier League and with only four games on, it’s our shortest episode ever. Fewer games doesn’t mean they’re not important as they could shape things at both ends of the table. We cover off Fulham hosting Leeds at Craven Cottage where they’ll look to (even temporarily) leapfrog Newcastle out of the relegation zone. Newcastle travel to Brighton who surged to victory against Joe’s Southampton, whilst Fino’s West Ham play Arsenal in a pivotal game in the race for Top 4. Kev and Joe’s sides in Liverpool and Southampton actually know how to win in cup competitions so are on FA Cup duty prior to the international break.
Kevin and Fino are the dynamic duo looking at this week’s Premier League fixtures as JP and Joe are otherwise engaged. They run through this week’s games including a fascinating North London Derby ahead of a massive week for Mikel Arteta, before taking some time to ponder many of life’s great questions, like will Mark Noble play Champions League Football, and will Jurgen Klopp jump before being pushed.
JP and Kevin chat to Premier League Champions Liverpool's throw-in coach Thomas Grønnemark about his amazing footballing journey, working with Liverpool, Ajax and Leipzig and that life-changing call from Jurgen Klopp!
Another packed week in the English Premier League as Newcastle vow to search out the dressing room leak, whilst Liverpool just look for a Plan B as Plan A saw them limp to a historic 1-0 loss at home to Chelsea. We discuss if Solksjaer’s back on the hot seat if Man United don’t get Top 4, and chat through the rest of this weekend’s Premier League fixtures.
The English Premier League madness never stops and the guys are back again to discuss the latest goings-on, like Lee Mason's VAR madness in the Brighton vs. West Brom game and Man City’s remarkable run. Joe’s wondering where this Tottenham team have been all season whilst Fino thinks he’s sussed out why they’re back flying again. Kev and JP lament Liverpool and Newcastle’s injury woes.
West Ham are flying high and JP, Joe, Kevin and Fino get together discuss their win against Tottenham as well as the rest of the Premier League fixtures… An in-depth discussion on what’s gone wrong for Liverpool this season after they slumped to their first Merseyside defeat in what feels like forever. Southampton stopped the rot against a Chelsea team that looked bereft of ideas and Newcastle are still looking over their shoulders as we move into the final 13 games of the season.
