The Iron Man Wrestling Podcast

Welcome to episode 32 of the Iron Man Wrestling Podcast. What have we got for you this week?

In this week's news: "Rowdy" Ronda Rousey; Wrestlemania 33; Hulk Hogan; Donald Trump's past involvement in wrestling; Lanny Poffo discussing the feud Macho Man wanted to have; and The Undertaker is set to appear at Smackdown 900.

A review of the Hell in a Cell 2016 card, and ratings for each match.

We look ahead to the Thanksgiving tradition that is the Survivor Series. The Real Deal was very excited to find out that there will be a few classic Survivor Series elimination matches this year.

A new feature where we pick a favourite entrance theme song. The first week's choices reflect almost every era.

Another quick feature to round up the show. If we were wrestlers, who would we pick to be our manager?

Welcome to Episode 31 of the Iron Man Wrestling Podcast. Join The Real Deal, The Fallen Angel and Old Man Joey in another weekly dose of wrestling chat. In this episode:

This week's news covers the main event of Hell in a Cell; Kurt Angle; The Dudley Boyz; HBK possibly appearing at the 2017 Royal Rumble; and Dolph Ziggler talking about the possibility of one of the big WWE PPV's taking place in the UK. You never know, it might happen.

As it's Halloween, what better way to celebrate than by watching through the 1993 Halloween Havoc card. This included British Bulldog taking on Steven Regal, Ric Flair taking on Rick Rude for the Big Gold Belt, and Big Van Vader fighting Cactus Jack in a Texas Death Match.

Wrapping up our Halloween segment, we watched the opening and closing matches of Halloween Havoc 1994. That gave us The Honky Tonk Man fighting Johnny B Badd, and Hulk Hogan taking on Ric Flair in a steel cage match. Throw in Mr T, Jimmy Hart, Brother Bruti and Sensual Sherri, and you have a... well, a train-wreck, frankly.

Well, as it says on the tin. We discuss the card for the 2016 Hell in a Cell PPV. Is having three Hell in a Cell matches too much?

Episode 30 of the Iron Man Wrestling Podcast kicks off in fine style. The Real Deal, Fallen Angel and Old Man Joey talk about wrestling and stuff. Meanwhile, David Otunga is ignored.

From Goldberg to Frenchie Martin to Daniel Bryan's depression. It's all in here!

We have a quick look at the forthcoming Hell in a Cell PPV.

To celebrate our forthcoming visit to Smackdown Live this November, The Real Deal remembers attending UK Rampage 1992 in Birmingham, his first and, to date, only professional wrestling event.

We (finally) reach the end of our quest to find the ultimate Intercontinental Champion.

It's Fallen Angel's turn to recall his first wrestling event, which he attended at the end of 1999.

This week, and wrapping up the episode, we wonder if Zack Ryder is overrated or underrated? Check us out.

Welcome to another episode of The Iron Man Wrestling Podcast. On this week's episode, join The Real Deal and The Fallen Angel (Old Man Joey is watching rockstars) as they discuss the following:

A review of the latest WWE PPV, No Mercy.

This week's wrestling news. From Bill Goldberg to TNA to everything in between.

We went back and watched Wrestlemania 8 from April 1992. Was the event a botch, or did it go the full distance?

Welcome fans, to episode 28 of the Iron Man Wrestling Podcast, and the second in our Debuts series. This week it's Chris Jericho and his WWF/WWE debut from August 1999. Join us - The Real Deal, The Fallen Angel and Old Man Joey - as we take a trip down memory lane and head back to a more innocent time.

Okay, we might be stretching the truth a little there.

We also have a look at his second match on Smackdown against The Road Dogg. Lots of storylines crisscrossing and blending into one another. It was a good time to be a wrestling fan, don't you think?

Welcome to another exciting episode of the Iron Man Wrestling Podcast. Join The Real Deal, The Fallen Angel and Old Man Joey as they wibble on for an hour about the following:

The possible closure/buyout of TNA; the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic (and it is GLORIOUS!); Raw's ratings; Ashton Kutcher on Raw; Ryback's MMA plans.

Reviewing each match, the card and the overall quality of the event. Let the Battle of the Beards commence!

A look at the matches for the next WWE PPV. They're coming thick and fast now that the brand split has happened! It's quite exhausting.

We're almost at the end of our fantasy Intercontinental Title Tournament. The final 8 battle it out for a place in the semi-finals.

The Real Deal sets Old Man Joey and Fallen Angel the task of choosing which of Mick Foley's personalities would win in a fight.

This is not the ultimate faction you were looking for. Fancy a group called The Barbershop Quartet? Brutus Beefcake is the starting point for the creation of a new stable.

Debuts - Episode 01: Tazz

Welcome to a special episode of The Iron Man Wrestling Podcast. This week we begin an ongoing series that looks at wrestler debuts. Our first episode features the human suplex machine, Tazz.

Tazz debuted in the World Wrestling Federation at the 2000 Royal Rumble. His second saw him take on the Mean Street Posse. Yeah... Suffice to say, in his WWF/WWE run, Tazz never made it much above the middle of the card in his WWF/WWE run.

But he would later go on to form part of the WWE commentary team and carved a niche for himself on Smackdown.

Well, here comes the pain!

Welcome to the 25th episode of the Iron Man Wrestling Podcast. This week The Fallen Angel and The Real Deal take you on a merry romp through the world of professional wrestling. This week's topics:

CM Punk in UFC, Wrestlemania 33, Paige and WWE, Ryback, Vince McMahon, WWE possibly buying TNA, Hulkamania running wild, and Real Deal's "Glorious" t-shirt. It does exactly what it says on the tin.

We review the first Smackdown-only PPV since the brand split earlier this week. Was it a success? Well there are less matches than a 2000-era WCW PPV event, so that's a bonus. We chip in our thoughts and ratings for each match and the event overall.

The final episode of the Cruiserweight Classic comes under the spotlight. It's been a great tournament all told, that's all you really need to know. How will WWE incorporate the Cruiserweights into Monday Night Raw?

If you thought the Hulk Hogan/Triple H match from Backlash 2002 was bad, then it's nothing compared to this one. An eleven minute "classic". Ahem.

Hidden Gems, The Marine films (finally!), and yet more. The Fallen Angel finds a bundle of Sharpies. The WWE Network are launching an animated stories series, and er... Eva Marie. It's a desperate attempt at clawing our way to the finish, and somehow find even more to talk about. Go figure.

Welcome to the Iron Man Wrestling Podcast. Old Man Joey has been deleted this week (curse you, Brother Nero!). so The Fallen Angel and The Real Deal are left to entertain you for the hour.

There's loads in the news this week. What did we talk about? Go ahead and download the podcast to find out!

The Real Deal runs through this week's episodes of NXT and the final quarter final match in the Cruiserweight Classic.

Remember this? We haven't covered this tournament since episode 8 which we released back in May. If you need to catch up, go and listen to where we got up to, then come back for this. Done? Good.

It wasn't a great main event, let's be honest. It's much worse with almost 15 years of hindsight.

The Real Deal runs through what he considers to be the five best Matt Hardy matches on the WWE Network. Do you have a favourite Matt Hardy match?

This week, Fallen Angel has to work out who would win in a match between Mosh/Thrasher; one of Los Conquistadors; one of the Body Donnas, and one of the Mean Street Posse.

We wrap up the show with a review of the Backlash PPV from 2004. Was it a botch, or does it go the distance?

Welcome friends, to this week's episode of the Iron Man Show, a wrestling podcast. On this week's episode, The Real Deal, The Fallen Angel and Old Man Joey discuss the following:

In this week's news: Brock Lesnarl Mike Knox, Alberto del Rio, the PWI Top 500 wrestlers, Katie Lea, and the sad passing of Mr Fuji. Yokozuna number one! Mr Fuji number one!

A review of the events from this week's Raw and Smackdown.

A quick look at the card for the Smackdown-only Backlash PPV on 11 September.

This is where things get a bit weird. Remember that strange move Jack Gallagher performed on Akira Tozawa? The Fallen Angel and The Real Deal try to do that move on each other. It has to be heard.

This week's NXT recap.

Was The Perfect One a legend who didn't achieve what he should, or was he somebody pitched at the perfect level?

This episode sees the worst world champions going head to head. The choices? David Arquette, Alberto del Rio, The Great Khali and, erm... Vince Russo.

What if Stone Cold Steve Austin had not injured his neck in that match with Owen Hart? We dabble in an alt-history where WCW could have won the Monday Night Wars. Perish the thought.
