This week I am joined by British podcasting royalty. Jordan McGrath has been talking about film since time began and I was a huge fan of 35mm Heroes back in the day. He has also tried his hand at print with Verite film magazine and has recently been talking film with his wife on His Film Her Movie. The latter watches a recommendation from their partner and they talk about their opinions. They recently finished a Heist season which brought up some interesting picks. 

I was very nervous to talk about this weeks film as I explain on the podcast but Jordan was a wonderful guest who brought a real passion and knowledge to the discussion.

This week I am joined by George Pacheco aka MetalGeorge666. George is a writer for Rue Morgue magazine and Watch Mojo. Recently George was involved in the Horror History documentary that Watch Mojo produced for YouTube and is a wonderful whistle-stop tour through horrors legacy and sub genres. 

It was great to finally chat to George as our taste in pretty much everything is exactly alike and we had a wonderful chat around 70s genre films and Italian horror nonsense.

Very different feel to this weeks episode. No sequel, music, intros or recent watches but a chat with the author of 'Blood in the Streets' Dr. Austin Fisher. Austin is film culture historian covering the history and politics in cinema within the USA and Italy. I reached out with my usual email and Austin's response was to have an open chat surrounding the 'Poliziotteschi' and the 'Anni di Piombo'. 

I really felt I had to be on my A game for this episode but Austin was a delight to talk to and really helped flex my cinematic history muscles. Enjoy.

IT'S EPISODE 30! On this weeks episode I am joined by Troy and Brad from the Not a Bomb Podcast. Not a Bomb is kind of a spirit animal to The Iron Sequel in which the guys talk about films that were panned and or underappreciated. It's a wonderful listen with two guys who are passionate about their love of cinema. We also talked about how we've crossed paths over the years due to the GGTMC and subsequent podcasts. A really lovely laid back chat with two great guys and I can't wait to inflict a personal choice on an episode with them in the future.

Rachel is one of the true leading voices on Giallo and Italian genre cinema and looks at the films from a fashion/architectural eye. Watching her career in writing through to podcasting and into the blu-ray release market providing commentaries and essays has been nothing short of a treat. Her Podcast, Fragements of Fear, also looks at some of the lesser celebrated Gialli with her co-host Peter Jilmstad. Her recent work 'The Legacy of WWII in European Arthouse Cinema' was released in May of this year and she also co-hosts the 'Twitch of the Death Nerve' podcast. Never one to back away from a discussion surrounding genre cinema, more specifically Cat III, we had a really wonderful discussion about her work, upcoming projects and how she navigates her way through gatekeepers online.
