Murlonda is a children’s book author. In this episode, we discussed what led to her becoming an author and the importance of representation in books. The work that she is doing is fantastic because most of her characters are based of her nephews.

I can only imagine how great they fill when they see there auntie making books not only for black boys, but them being the main characters. This episode took me back to my childhood when I got introduced to the Tiki and Ronde Barber book by my brother's side.
