On Monday, the Senate Judiciary Committee will start the hearings for Merrick Garland, President Joe Biden's nominee for Attorney General. The mainstream media has said that Garland is a centrist and a moderate, but he is anything but a moderate. 

Garland is a highly divisive candidate that has pledged to further the special interest causes of the left. Black Lives Matter and Antifa have found a friend in Garland, who will target conservatives under the label of white supremacy and domestic terrorism. He will do little to defend the Constitution or protect America as we know it. 

Joe Biden had a secret legal team throughout his campaign starting in March of last year. The New Yorker shared in a story that the group, labeled SG3, came together to anticipate every possible scenario of how Trump could perhaps win the White House. Not just anticipate how he might win, but also work to prevent any possible Trump legal challenge as well. 

The details surrounding the group are slim, but it appears that they worked with a large team and prepared legal challenges well in advance of any votes being cast. The issue is that the secret nature of their work will give way to conspiracy theory and there's little to stop it. 

Finally, Jared talks about a recent NBC News poll that says the makeup of the GOP is changing. It shows that the GOP is becoming the party of the blue-collar worker. Democrats have claimed this as their banner for years, but it seems Americans are learning that Democrats are not really interested in helping them. 

While the GOP may be changing, will the GOP recognize and adapt? It seems many establishment Republicans are not interested in change, but rather their own careers. Jared shares how this poll speaks volumes to the work that Republicans are doing on main street of America, and how establishment Republicans better get on board or be prepared to be out.

In a recent NY Post article, it is shared that CNN has put a lid on Chris Cuomo. The brother to NY Gov. Andrew Cuomo is no longer allowed to cover his brother. He cannot talk about him, interview him, or anything of the sort. Talk about convenient timing. 

The lid was reactivating a restriction that the company had before. Of course, it came at a convenient time in which Andrew Cuomo is being looked at heavily for his actions in the coronavirus pandemic. The same actions that CNN celebrated just a few months ago as they lifted the restriction and allowed the Cuomo brothers to ramble on primetime. 

There are two situations here that are very clear. CNN is far from a news organization and Chris Cuomo is far from a journalist. Both have failed in what they claim to do and Jared shares how. 

Plus Ted Cruz comes under scrutiny for a trip to Cancun. He simply said he was trying to be a good father, while everyone on the left attacked him for leaving people to suffer. It's as if Cruz has control over the power grid in Texas and controls the winter weather. The left has done nothing but blame conservatives for the weather and what has happened. While the left calls for Cruz to resign, he has no reason to resign and should simply ignore them. 

Since the last show, conservative talk show icon Rush Limbaugh passed away. He was a conservative icon that did so much for the conservative movement across the country. Jared shares some words about the passing of this legend and the void that is left with his passing.

On Tuesday, Press Secretary Jen Psaki confirmed what we all knew. Joe Biden is coming after our guns. She said it was his personal mission and he was committed to doing so. While many thought he may act through legislation, she indicated that he is considering executive action. 

Executive action against a Constitutionally protected right is an interesting thought. We cannot put anything past Joe Biden, who believes he has every right to rule by decree rather than by legislation. It's not just Joe Biden either, it's Biden and Kamala Harris. 

Jared goes into detail about what he believes Biden may try by executive order. He does not believe Biden can accomplish everything through executive order, but he does see many places Biden may believe he has the ability to attack the Constitution. He fully expects Biden to act in the very near future.

NC GOP Chairman Michael Whatley also joins the show to talk about the recent move to censure Sen. Richard Burr. Burr was one of seven Republicans who voted to convict President Trump in his Senate impeachment trial. 

While Whatley said the state party felt convicted to act, he also said it does not mean Burr has no future. He also does not believe it will have implications on the future Senate race as Burr is not running for reelection.

Former President Donald Trump was acquitted for a second time on Saturday with a 57-43 vote in the Senate. While the acquittal is not surprising, there are several key details in the case that we must take a closer look at. While the Left celebrates this as a bipartisan rebuke of Trump, it's anything but bipartisan. 

The outcome of the impeachment trial was never in question. Everyone knew Trump would be acquitted. What we did not know was the rapid movement of Republicans away from Trump amid the statements following the impeachment. 

Republicans had begun to turn their back on President Trump before the impeachment. Nikki Haley had said he was a mistake and that Republicans should move on. Others made interesting comments following the impeachment trial. It seems that they are ok with distancing themselves from Trump voters and moving back to the center. The same position that cost them the 2012 election with Mitt Romney as the nominee. 

Republicans say they are out for the everyday American time and again, then fail to live up to the promises they make. They wasted two years in power with President Trump, leaving him to fight the battle alone. Americans sent them with a mission, to abandon the swamp mindset and actually deal with issues that mattered to Americans. Now, the Republican party may be a lost cause. 

Jared takes a closer look at the Republican party and the future for conservatives. It isn't a top-down approach, but one that will require everyone to become activists to combat the establishment once and for all. 

Last week, Tucker Carlson shared some news that was a little surprising to the conservative community. Bank of America had willingly spied on its customers and provided data back to the US government on those who may have been in Washington DC and participated in the riots at the Capitol. 

People could have simply been in Washington for fun but had their privacy breached in order for the government to obtain and view their data. We already knew the government was watching our cell phone data, but this takes it a step further. 

It is strikingly similar to an operation by the CCP called the Golden Shield Project. Others have called it the great firewall, but truthfully that is part of the larger program. Jared describes the program and the eery similarities between it and what is happening currently in the US. 

Bill Maher also made some interesting comments at the end of last week. He went on the attack against Christians, saying that they were directly responsible for the events at the Capitol on January 6th. He said that Christians were not able to be trusted because of their crazy beliefs and that they were responsible for the QAnon conspiracy. 

Jared explains how Maher's statements are flawed but that there is one thing that does come to mind from his statements that must be taken into account. Christians have become so focused on QAnon and Trump that they have lost sight of their real purpose in this world. While being involved is important, it cannot consume our lives. We have a greater purpose and are here for something far more meaningful than simply political battles.

Joe Biden's Press Secretary is taking heat. Not for dodging press conferences or even for holding them. No, she is apparently screening questions before they are asked. In a direct attack on the free press, the Biden administration again proves they have no interest in the Constitution as they directly attack the American people. It's almost like watching a Communist government at work. 

Psaki is reported to have asked reporters for questions so she can more effectively give them information. In other words, she needs to get her story together before she gets put into the spotlight. It's an attempt to cover corruption, seek out stories before they become stories, and manipulate the free press. Just like his former boss Obama, Biden plans to use the press as a weapon and control the information that is available for the American people.

Corruption like this is nothing new for the Democrats, as even Vice President Kamala Harris is under scrutiny. She has previously supported bail funds for those who rioted last summer. She tweeted out requesting people donate to those funds and help them bail out criminals. One of those criminals has now been arrested 2 additional times. The first two times the bail fund busted him out, now he's back for more felonies. Harris has no issue if a hardened criminal is out of jail to threaten you and your family, she just does not want conservatives loose on the streets. 

The Trump legal team is preparing its defense for the impeachment trial that is set to start next week. The team put out a statement on Tuesday responding to the charges. The response was an effective one, and Jared goes over all the details.

While it may have been a slow news weekend, there are three things that seem to stand out. The first is the big deal that the mainstream media made over President Trump's legal team leaving. While they reported reasons for their departure, the concern should be minimal. 

In fact, President Trump really does not need a legal defense team. One GOP strategist said just this very thing. There is no chance that Democrats can convict Trump and this amounts to nothing more than a show. Most believe the trial is unconstitutional at this point anyway. 

Another story is that of several Republicans who went to try and convince Biden to change his COVID-19 relief proposal. They want to work on a bipartisan measure. Some of the names are not surprising as they are more moderate Senators. The measure includes several of Biden's wishes but is significantly cheaper. It comes in at around $600 billion. 

But it looks like the move is a waste of time as Democrats are poised to vote on a budget motion to push through the $1.9 trillion package. This is the type of bipartisanship and unity that Joe Biden is after. He has no intention of being bipartisan, he is simply out to push his way through. The move comes as he promises billions to Central America and eliminates billions of dollars and thousands of jobs from the US economy with his executive orders. 

Democrats have no issue spending money that is not their own. Rep. Maxine Waters has been using campaign donations to finance her family. Millions of dollars have gone to her daughter and other family members since she went into office. While paying them for work is not illegal, many times there is little to no work in these situations. Jared describes a few times other Democrats were caught in similar measures and that such actions warrant an investigation to determine the level of corruption present.

In this interview special, Clarence Henderson joins The Jared Dyson Show. Clarence gained notoriety as a hero during the civil rights movement. He was part of a group of students that conducted a sit in at the Woolworths in Greensboro, North Carolina. Since that time, Clarence has been an outspoken activists and is a proud conservative. 

Clarence shares his story about how he became involved in the sit-ins in the 60's. Jared asks Clarence his feelings about the new discussion about racism and if he believes that systemic racism exists from the perspective of someone that actually lives through the civil rights movement. 

Jared and Clarence then talk about Clarence's support of President Trump and speech he gave for the RNC. He shares his perspective on conservatism and how it affects his life. Clarence also shared how he feels that a lack of moral character has led to a lot of the issues our nation is currently experiencing.
