Aim to be a podcast that gives you deeper information about Japan, Travel, People, History, and more. That will make your trip to Japan so much more enjoyable. Understanding cultural things, the history behind them, makes travel so much more enjoyable and meaningful.

I am not a historian but a data scientist working as a nomad in Japan. Learning Japanese while i travel is my hobby and passion, so bringing you along with me in this podcast, will make it more fun for everyone

I took a birthday pilgrims down the remains of the Kyuutoukaidou 旧東海道 in SHinagawa (品川). This was the road from Edo(Modern day tokyo) to Kyoto, which was super important for Trade, travel of the lords, commutation and pilgrimages to Ise (伊勢). The first stop on the Edo side was Shinagawa. Starting from North Shinagawa station in took a walk down this road and stopped out at the seven lucky gods shrines on the way
