In this special edition of JHP, we give our take on the Girl Meets World television series as it’s three year run on the Disney Channel has just wrapped up. In a larger context, we compare the series to its successor “Boy Meets World” and how the sequel stacks up against a show they both grew up with. We also get into the cultural impact of “Girl Meets World” on youth and society, why a TV show like this is important to have on the air and how the business model of the Disney Channel and the Disney company prevented this show from reaching its full potential.
