It's unfortunate that even the word immigration has become polarizing. When you hear it on the news, depending on which channel you're watching, there's a slant to the word immigrant, and it's unfortunate because we're a country of immigrants. We all came from another country, other than the Native Americans. To talk about that today is Joseph Galliani, author of The Last Real Immigrant.

I reached the halftime of my career about 15 years ago when I started this PR firm. I had reached the top of the little mountain I was climbing called local TV news, and I looked around and said, "Is this all there is?" Thank goodness I left the news because I've never been happier. I think you would agree with me that being a kid today is much more difficult than it's ever been before. There's cyberbullying, bullying face to face at school, and we're just starting a new school year.
