You've heard so much in the news about how chat robots are going to take over the world, but there is one area that robots just can't do, they can't have intuition. They can't help you with your problems. Talking to a robot is not like talking to a Licensed Clinical Psychologist. Dr. Shannon Crawford is here to talk about that.

As many of you know, I wrote a book some 20 years ago, and it was difficult to write a book. I couldn't imagine being a playwright. And and on top of that, writing a personal journey about a tragedy. Well, I had the privilege of speaking at a conference today and I was seated in front waiting to go on, and I met my next guest. Katherine Dawn Funk has so much light and faith and charisma that I had to have her on my show.

There used to be a rule book for running for Congress. You remember the familiar playbook. You became an attorney and then maybe you ran for city council, you became a mayor, and then eventually you would run for Congress. Well, all of that went out the window. We've seen a lot of people who have never held elected office before, running for Congress. And and that is, in a way very refreshing. John O'Shea joins me, he's a Candidate for the 12th Congressional District and he's running against Kay Granger.

When I got to Dallas in 1992, I was told there are several events that are must-see events. Cattle Baron's, Crystal Charities and of course, Mad Hatter's. And they've been doing that now since 1988. I cannot believe that. Joining us to talk about that today Anne Stodghill, she's the Majestic Mad Hatter's Co-Chair this year and Sarah Jo Harden, she's the President of the Arboretum.

So I believe in God things and a God thing happened the other day. I was at the Stars game and I was looking up at the screen and I saw Celena Rae singing the National Anthem. And I turned to my wife and I said, "I know her. I used to interview her years ago."

How old do you feel in your mind? I think most days when I wake up, I feel like I'm in my twenties and I'm about to be 60. Another person who feels the same way is my next guest, Sharon Simmons.

Well, I love how God works. Yesterday, I'm sitting at my desk, phone rings, and it's an old friend, Janeé Hill. Somebody that I've known now for possibly two decades. We've both kind of watched each other grow from afar. She's in my studio today, and I couldn't be more happy.
