Alan Dershowitz has built a career on the back of controversial clients.

He has also has controversy of his own. Dershowitz is accused of taking part in the Epstein trafficking ring by Virginia Roberts who has said that she was "given" to Dershowitz by Epstein.

With all of that out there the event organizers at New Yorks Temple Emanu-el who were set to put on their annual "People vs Joseph's Brothers" event thought it would be a good idea to have Epstein argue for the defense.

In what should not be a shock to anyone...the event ended up being canceled.
