Any talk about OSU football these days starts and ends with tailback Ollie Gordon. His second straight historic game – 282 yards rushing, including 149 in the fourth quarter alone – lifted the Cowboys to a 48-34 victory over West Virginia on Saturday. Now OSU has won three straight games and is in contention for the Big 12 Championship Game. Gordon is an emerging star on a revived team. Jenni and I talked about all that and more on this week's OSU episode of The Jenni & Berry Show.

OU’s problems are few these days, but here are at least two to chew on. Also, Jenni Carlson and Berry Tramel discuss the age-old question: Will the Sooners suffer from a post-Texas letdown? OU’s off week helps the Sooners come down from their Cotton Bowl high, and it’s easy to believe that Brent Venables intense personality will guard against any slack off as OU hosts Central Florida.

Jenni and I had no shortage of things to discuss after OSU’s 39-32 victory over Kansas on Saturday. Ollie Gordon’s monster game. A defensive shutdown over the last 26 minutes. The continuation of a revenge tour that now heads to the mountains of West Virginia. We talked about all that and more on this week's OSU version of The Jenni & Berry Show.

Berry and I are still buzzing about that game we saw Saturday in the Cotton Bowl. But we put a damper on the best-Red-River-game-ever talk. Still, it's hard not to like what the Sooners did. Impossible not to like what Dillon Gabriel did. We talked about all that and more on this week's OU version of The Jenni & Berry Show.

The vibe around OSU football changed on Friday night as the Cowboys whipped Kansas State 29-21 in dominating fashion. Jenni and I talk about what a difference Alan Bowman made at quarterback and how an opportunistic defense gave the Cowboys a path to control of the game.

It’s OU-Texas week, and we’ve got lots to talk about. What quarterback in the Red River Rivalry is best. Why Brent Venables needs to win this game. Just how good these two teams are. But first, Berry wanted to know all about how my trip to Colorado was, so I told him. It was crazy. We’ve got all of that and more in this week’s Jenni & Berry Show.

Jenni Carlson and Berry Tramel look back at OSU’s stunning loss to South Alabama and OU’s beatdown of Tulsa. Berry says the Cowboys’ Fiesta Bowl win suddenly seems long ago and far away while Jenni wonders if she would’ve stayed for the second half Saturday if she wasn’t getting paid to be there. Plus, OU looked strong again Saturday, but Berry and Jenni agree that a road game at Cincy this week will be completely different than last week’s road game at Tulsa.

Jenni Carlson and Berry Tramel look back at OU’s game against SMU and OSU’s game at Arizona State, but before getting the the action, they discuss the Art Briles situation. Jenni says OU should ban him from the stadium and all football facilities. Berry says this is what OU signed up for when it hired Briles’ son-in-law, Jeff Lebby, as offensive coordinator. The whole thing is sure to be an ongoing story as the Sooners prepare for their final nonconference game at Tulsa. The Cowboys finish up with South Alabama as the quarterback drama continues.

Arizona State. The Sooners, coming off a 73-0 rout of Arkansas State, step up in competition to host the Mustangs, who may pose the biggest test before the Texas game. The Cowboys, coming off a closer-than-expected 27-13 win over Central Arkansas, square off against the equally perplexing Sun Devils. What’s more, these games are a preview of the conference realignment that’s still to come, OU-SMU providing an SEC-ACC preview and OSU-Arizona State giving a glimpse at a future Big 12 showdown.
