The Jim on Base Show

Six-time MLB All-Star, four-time Gold Glove winner, and Cleveland baseball legend Kenny Lofton joins The Jim on Base Show for an exclusive conversation about his remarkable 17-year Major League career and his place in baseball history.

With 622 stolen bases, 2,428 hits, and 11 postseason appearances, Lofton established himself as one of the most dynamic leadoff hitters and center fielders of his generation. But despite his impressive résumé, Cooperstown has remained elusive.

In this episode, we discuss his Hall of Fame candidacy and chances of eventual induction, his years with the Cleveland Indians, memorable teammates and baseball legends, the evolution of the game, and how today’s rule changes could have impacted his legendary speed on the basepaths.

From unforgettable moments in the big leagues to his life beyond baseball, Lofton shares his perspective on a career that deserves recognition.
