Tony discusses why someone needs to think about how the job they might take will "carry over" to other types of positions in the future. He talks about a candidate that, because the money was good, went into cars sales and after two years decided he wanted to get out of cars sales. He was making really good money but the hours were awful. Now hiring authorities are having a real problem getting over the fact that he was selling cars. He didn't think about how selling cars my carry over to other types of sales jobs… Not very well!
