Need to get out of your state. Watching it sink fast?
You don't know where to go or how to get to a "safe" state?

Kevin D. Korenthal was born and raised in Southern California. He also raised his own family in the "reddish" city of Santa Clarita and had intended to stay in the best state in the country with regard to resources and natural beauty. But that was not to be.

The rising cost of living and onerous regulations of the state impeded his small business while the one-party political system in the state increased the cost and reduced access to all that California had to offer. So he left. Kevin moved to the North Texas community of McKinney, TX just 20 miles North of Dallas where he was able to use the profits from the sale of his California home to put 55% down on a similar-sized home.

Kevin joins Joe to discuss how he is helping other Californians, and those from other blue states realize the escape that he did but without the hassle of finding real estate agents on both ends of the transaction. Kevin is on the show tonight to talk about the company he works with, Conservative Move. Where we move families right!

Guest, Dan Pilla of TaxHelpOnline.com explains the most common "GOTCHA" TAX reporting mistakes that people make.

The tax code is SO huge, that most agents couldn't possibly know all the law. Plus, they don't go by the "law", they go by the tax manual.

The decisions of tax auditors are NEVER final. You always have the write to appeal. The appeals office is tasked with trying to negotiate a settlement. Still not final. After that, you can take it to tax court and have it heard. The higher up the ladder you go in the IRS, the better chance you have of an accurate and fair assessment.
