Growing up in a poor family, he found quickly that he wanted more in life. Nick took an big interest in popular successful people, including Donald Trump.

It wasn't until Nick experienced an accident down in Florida that pushed back to South Jersey. That's when he went to help his dad with his boat repair shop. Recognizing a gold mine of spare parts in the parts room is where he got started becoming a web entrepreneur.

It would take Nick a year of learning and finding failures to push through the failure and become a successful web entrepreneur. Being self taught, Nick admits that it took him longer than it would take someone who was professionally trained.

Nick proves that the path to success and understanding of an industry isn't just found in schooling but in trial and error,  and of course youtube videos.

I know Nick personally, and even get to play roller hockey with him on one of my tems. I'm really glad that he decided to come on the show to share what makes him a successful web entrepreneur in his own right.

Hailing from the state of Delaware. Andrew took his passion for learning to another level when a friend and him decided to start a company based around blogging and Wordpress sites. It was his friend who suggested that he start up a podcast for the website, to help build content and a following. Starting out they interviewed the members of their team. Soon the podcast started to reach out and interview people from other companies.

Eventually the company had dissolved, but Andrew wasn't about to give up on his new found passion of podcasting. Kipp got the privilege as an American during the Cold War to travel to East Germany, Soviet Union, and has even been to Cuba. He graduated from Penns Grove High School in Penns Grove, NJ. The same high school that Bruce Willis graduated from, but 4 years later.

When Kipp got to take a trip to Germany with a high school german teacher, he figured out that he wanted to do something with languages. On that trip, he got to spend an afternoon in East Berlin which was a life changing experience for him.

He went on to spend 34 years teaching German at Gateway Regional High School in Woodbury Heights, NJ. He also spent 8 years there teaching students Russian during the the height of the Gorbachev years in the Soviet Union. Which worked out great for him because he got to take a year off from teaching while on sabbatical from his teaching duties. Kipp spent that year in the Soviet Union studying Russian language, and even found himself working for NBC translating for The Reagan-Gorbachev Cold War Summit.

Kipp was fortunate enough while over in the Soviet Union to get invited to a party hosted by Tom Brokaw, getting to hang out with many other celebrity reporters during that time.

Fear of the unknown isn't something that Kipp lets bother him. He feels that if he did, he would have never gone or done anything in his life. I think it is really important for all of my dreamers to take on fear of the unknown head on.

Kirsty is originally from Scotland, but resides in England with her husband and 2 children which she home schools. She reignited her love of travel over 7 years ago when she took her kids to the Disney Pixar's  Cars.

Kirsty started doing a lot of writing, to get her thoughts straight. Figuring out things like what they would do, how they would afford it. Her family didn’t have a lot of money so she had to come up with ways around money being a limiting factor. So, originally she convinced herself that instead of traveling the world, they could travel around England and that would be enough. After talking to some friends, she decided she could conquer her fears of traveling with her kids and buy a camper van.

Dealing with a lot of fear of failure, Kirsty, dug in deep and told lots of people of her plans to travel around Europe. This helped her by pushing herself to do something that she didn't think she would be able to do.

In 2012, her and her husband saved up as much money as they could and began selling all of their possessions. Kirsty's husband had to quit his job of driving a truck to make this dream of driving a van across Europe a reality. For the last two months before they departed on their trip, they lived in the van in Kirsty's parents' driveway.

Kirsty, of Untrapped Life, loves learning about different cultures, and is looking forward to going to Podcast Movement in Dallas, Texas, August 16 and 17th to be a panelist!

Podcast Movement Kickstarter

Jared got his start in the podcasting world by launching his first podcast, Starve The Doubts. He was so determined to find someone else to accomplish outside of his 9 to 5 sales job. Jared felt the need to do something else with his life even though he was crushing it at his job.

Jared decided he wanted to start podcasting as a way to fulfill his creative needs. He couldn't afford formal classes from Cliff Ravenscraft, but decided to email Cliff and find out if he could work with him on a payment plan. Cliff graciously agreed to work with him on the $800 fee by hashing out a payment plan.

While attending a conference that incorporated some aspects of podcasting, he overheard some people talking about how they wish there was a conference dedicated to podcasting. That's when he got the idea to take the initiative and start his own conference, but he didn't know what he was going to do next.

Eventually Jared contacted Gary from Podcamp Dallas about joining forces and starting up a podcast conference in Dallas, Texas. Together they started recruiting both volunteers and podcast friends to speak at the event. Jared also shows how just asking for something can turn into a great opportunity. He contacted Phillip Taylor and got an hour long phone call together, where Gary and Jared could ask lots of questions to get them on their conference starting way!

As a proof of concept, Jared reached out to his podcast friends to reach out to their listeners with their email lists. This allowed Podcast Movement to really start moving forward. Podcast Movement got it's biggest boost when in the first 9 hours of posting to KickStarter, they raised the $11,000 that they were asking for to rent a conference center in Dallas. At the end of the 30 days on Kickerstarter, they had found themselves with over $30,000!

To date, they have sold more than 550 tickets for the conference, being held on August 16 and 17th in Dallas, Texas. If you can't make it to Dallas, they are selling virtual tickets that will offer up HD video recordings of every speaker and panel!

Ryan Crelin knew from a young age that he wanted to be involved with sports some how. When it was time to goto college, he found himself at Seton Hall University in New Jersey (his home state). While at Seton Hall he studied to be in sports management.

Growing up his dad owned a family business, but Ryan's dad wanted him to go and live out his own dreams instead of staying in the family business. So Ryan found a lot of encouragement from his family for pursuing his dreams of managing in the sports arena.

He was lucky enough to be recommended to take an internship at the ECHL. Even though the location for it was down in Princeton, New Jersey, Ryan took the position two hours away and drove four times a week. Many times he wasn't sure if he would have enough gas money to get down there, but he pressed on.

Eventually Ryan saw the light at end of the tunnel working at the ECHL main office, and all of his hard work and endless hours were starting to pay off. He then continued to press with his MBA from Rutgers University.

Ryan encourages everyone to never stop learning and educating yourself. Even when people want to look at you and judge, you show that you have the knowledge to make them respect you.

Ryan is a good friend of mine, and I am really happy that he decided to come on Dreamers Podcast to share his story. One thing I admire about him is the fact that he isn't afraid to be himself and not worry about what other people think.

Diane's weight loss journey started when she realized that 320 pounds wasn't what she wanted!

Her weight loss journey is filled with many road blocks. Diane's biggest inspiration as come from a combination of family, friends, her daughter and the show The Biggest Loser! Being a single mother of a three year old has been tough, but very rewarding for Diane.

Diane's sister pushed her to start going to the gym four years ago, and continued to push her harder on the treadmill. Running started to take over Diane's life, and sister was able to convince her to sign up for her first half marathon! While training she has done two 5ks and has had much success doing so.

Diane was originally nervous running outdoors, missing the comforts of the indoor treadmill experience. But now she is growing more accustomed to running out doors, and enjoying her new lifestyle! Diane has also had to deal with the mental aspect of working out in front of others. Through all of that, she has managed to stay focused on the positive things instead of the negative which has helped push her forward on the path of her weight loss journey.

I grew up with Diane, she sat behind me in all of my home room classes from seventh grade till graduation. I am so proud of her to make this transformation for herself. I also want to say that I am very happy that it has allowed us to reconnect after nearly 10 years of not seeing each other. It is great to see how far she has come on her weight loss journey! As a little girl living in New York, Janette Pellegrini was sad when she found out that her play camera didn't take real photos. Going through school she always had a camera on her, and was highly involved with her school's newspaper. It was then, that her mom suggested that she take up a career in photography. Janette Pellegrini decided to take her up on it, and headed over to college to learn to become a professional photographer.

Even while in college, Janette Pellegrini had a part time job working at a 30 minute photo store. Though once she got out of college, she found that working a normal 9-5 desk job / photographer was not the life for her. On the first day of her brand new full time job as a photographer, she got a phone call to go do a photo shoot for one of her favorite bands. She decided to ditch work to go do the unpaid shoot, and never looked back. Within a week she had removed herself from the strings of a full-time position to freelance permanently.

Along the way she has had to deal with many of the pitfalls of freelancing. Included in that is a steady pay check and scheduling issues with friends and family. Another issue that Janette Pellegrini had to deal with was the fact that she was not well equipped for the digital era that was just getting started as she exited college. So, being behind the eight ball, she had to learn most of what it takes to survive in the digital age on her own, and she feels she is made better for it. By knowing the analog process of photos, she understands photography at it's core, but admits a class on digital photography at the very least would have been nice.
