"I don't need to wait another minute, let alone an hour, to take common-sense steps that will save lives in the future and to urge my colleagues in the House and Senate to act," Biden said Tuesday, speaking from the White House State Dining Room. Speaking at the White House before leaving for Columbus, Ohio, Biden suggested that he may take executive action on gun violence.
"As president I’m going to use all the resources at my disposal to keep people safe," he said.
