Students who act out in school will be staying put in their classrooms thanks to a new bill signed into law by Gov. Gavin Newsom Monday.

Senate Bill 419 bans elementary and middle schools from suspending students for “willful defiance.”

"The AMA implored the public to stop using e-cigarettes until health officials can determine the cause of e -cigarette-associated lung illnesses in the United States.“ The AMA recommends anyone who has recently used e-cigarette products to seek medical care promptly if they experience any adverse health effects, particularly coughing, shortness of breath or chest pain."
