Yesterday Simi spoke with Nicola DeSousa-Heide about her son, Christian, and how she struggled to get him help with his serve opioid addiction. While discussing the struggle to get him help, Nicola talked about the response her son’s school had to his addiction.  Our next guest was listening to that interview and sent us an email with her reaction. It’s the news that the whole world had been waiting for, all 12 boys and their young soccer coach have been rescued from a flooded cave in Thailand!

In 2012, it was adapted into a movie starring Hugh Jackman, Russell Crowe, Anne Hathaway, Amanda Seyfried, and Eddie Redmayne, which opened this musical to an even broader audience.

Four more boys and their coach remain trapped inside the Tham Luang Nang Non cave complex.
