A video of a close encounter with a bear cub is going viral! The video has been viewed nearly 1-and-a-half million times. It shows 14-year old Davin Gunrow perched high in a tree lookout. The black bear cub climbs the tree to hang out just inches from his for a few minutes, before heading back down to join his mother and sibling.

An asteroid the size of the Statue Of Liberty [93 metres!] will zoom by earth today, missing us by around 200,000 kilometres -- but that’s considered a close encounter. Last night, Richmond Council voted to keep current house sizes on agricultural land despite strong opposition from some residents and farmland activists. It means house sizes will be limited to 10,764 square feet.
