Sydney Strodecke was blindsided when she arrived at her Kelowna campus yesterday; she tearfully watched pro-life demonstrations and the pro-choice counter protest from a picnic table by herself.  Students were more upset by the imagery being shown then the group actually being on campus. However, the Kelowna Right to Life Society said it uses the pictures because they are shocking.

A new study suggests that new dog owners don’t socialize their puppies enough and this leads to bad behaviours when the puppy grows up.  The study says it’s important to get your dog used to other dogs at an early age in order to develop social skills that lead to a better behaved pooch later on.

Mayor Linda Hepner and the City of Surrey are facing tough questions after tens of thousands of dollars were spent to send her and three staffers to a real estate conference in Cannes, France.
