Facebook’s reputation has been left in tatters this week amid a startling investigation revealing data mining company Cambridge Analytica improperly used the data of 50 million users for political gain - eventually thrusting Donald Trump into power.

Two MPs risk being arrested this morning vowing to stand by pipeline protesters in Burnaby. Everyone is expecting MP's Kennedy Stewart and Elizabeth May to get themselves arrested. The protest may be delayed this morning.

Chapter 1:

-It seems like Andrew Weaver, Leader of the Green Party, has shown his true colour...and that colour is yellow.  Weaver has said he would bring down the government if the NDP went ahead with Site C and LNG but both are going ahead and Weaver hasn't had the bravado to step up and follow through on his threats.

-Municipalities are being told not to expect much tax income from legal pot sales.  But how can that be if the Federal and Provincial governments are said to be splitting the tax revenue?  Where will this money end up if not in the municipalities that are policing the sale of marijuana?

-Hundreds of thousands of students are expected to descend on Washington D.C. tomorrow in protest of gun violence in the United States. The rally, dubbed March For Our Lives, was announced in the days that followed the massacre at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Florida. While gun violence in Canadian schools is a rare concern, kids and teachers on this side of the border will still take to the streets in a show of solidarity.
