Ontario's Progressive Conservative caucus will meet today to pick an interim leader.  That's after 39-year-old Patrick Brown stepped down as leader early this morning following graphic allegations by two women accusing him of sexual misconduct back when he was federal M-P.  Brown told a news conference late last night that he couldn't speculate on the motive of his accusers, but insisted that what they are saying is categorically not true.

-Patrick Brown has stepped down as Ontario Progressive Conservative Party leader while he fights to clear his name after sexual misconduct allegations were brought against him by two women.  Deputy PC Party Leaders Sylvia Jones and Steve Clark said in a written statement they learned of the allegations Wednesday evening.

-Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said today that Canada will double our commitment to the Global Partnership Fund. Speaking in Davos, Switzerland, he stated an additional $180-million dollars between 2018-2020. The fund helps educate children in developing countries. Once again, Trudeau is looking good on the international stage. But should he be focused on Canadian education problems instead?

If you are trying to lose weight, a new study suggests you stop hanging out with your overweight friends.  According to the study when you eat with unhealthy eaters, most people will ditch their habits and eat in the same fashion as their friends.
