As Londoners are still trying to put the pieces back together after the tragic Grenfell Tower, and alarming piece of information has been revealed: nearly 6-hundred apartment buildings in England are covered in the same siding that was a major factor in the blaze.

The B-C Legislature convenes today for the first time since the May 9th election, and the first day is normally a formality.  But with a razor thin margin between the Liberals and the NDP-Green coalition, nothing is normal these days in provincial politics.  The Province newspaper's Michael Smyth is here with his take on the day's headlines.
