For the first time in B-C, a Starbucks in East Vancouver is selling booze.

In the wake of April’s fatal overdose count, the chair of the B.C. Recovery Council Marshall Smith thinks the focus needs to change in order to tackle the big picture of the opioid crisis.  Smith says the majority of fatal overdoses happen in suburban areas such as homes and workplaces throughout the province.

We’ll find out today if the United States will or will not pull out of the Paris Climate Accord. President Trump is set to make the announcement this afternoon in the Rose Garden.
