Thousands will be descending on Vancouver’s Sunset Beach on Thursday for the annual 4/20 Celebration, or the so-called ‘protestival.’

For the second year in a row, the smoke-in event is unsanctioned and unpermitted, but this year the Vancouver Park Board wants to do things differently by being pro-active rather than reactive.

The 4/20 Demonstration is happening today at Sunset Beach (police expect some people to show up at the Art Gallery as well). While the majority of people support the new pot legalization bill, even more people expect it will fail in its key missions.

After much speculation, 21st Century Fox (parent company of Fox News Channel) confirmed Wednesday afternoon that longtime host Bill O’Reilly is no longer employed with the organization.  Bruce Allen joins the show with his Reality Check.

April 20 has been long considered to be National Weed Day. Legalized recreational and medical pot in Colorado hit $1.3 billion in sales last year. In the state, good pot business is turning out to be good news for budget-strapped cities and even college kids.  CBS report from Barry Peterson.
