Prime Minister Justin Trudeau will be having a one-on-one meeting with U.S. President Donald Trump in Washington, D.C.

Both leaders will be discussing the relationship between the two countries in regards to strengthening ties and the renegotiation of the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA).

President Trump has recently vowed to revisit the issue with Prime Minister Trudeau after the U.S. exited the Trans-Pacific Partnership Agreement (TPAA), which is a trade partnership between  Australia, Brunei, Canada, Chile, Japan, Malaysia, Mexico, New Zealand, Peru, Singapore and Vietnam. The United States left the trade agreement back on January 23, 2017.

The Supreme Court may be the next stop for President Trump's controversial travel ban.

A convict who was hired to run two foster homes by an agency that was contracted out by the Ministry of Children and Family Development (MCFD) to care for some of B.C.’s most vulnerable kids says caregivers aren’t vetted closely enough.  Thirty-eight-year-old Andrew Resham Bhatti has a hundred criminal convictions, including aggravated assault, robbery and possession of heroin.

Premier Christy Clark says there will be an investigation into the alleged hacking of the B.C. Liberals website.  She made the comments Thursday morning while speaking to Jim Harrison with CHNL in Kamloops.  Now new information is available that there may have been no "hack" at all.

We are learning more about the hacking allegations BC Premier Christy Clark made against the BC NDP party and then later scaled back.  Independent MLA Vicki Huntington was Province Columnist and CKNW host Mike Smyth's source in regards to the so-called privacy breach involving the B-C Liberal Party website.   Huntington confirms she was the one who blew the whistle on the breach.  She says the private info she came across on the BC Liberals website was available to the public.  Huntington chalks it up to playing politics, calling the Premier a "diva of deflection".
