The people paid to take care of troubled teen Alex Gervais failed him in every possible way.  And they did it over and over again.  That's the heartbreaking bottom line following an investigation from BC Children's watchdog Bernard Richard.

Incredible! For the first time in more than a century, wild bison are roaming Banff National Park once again. The herd was driven into the park in freight containers then airlifted by helicopter into a remote valley. Altogether there are 16 wild buffalo in the herd - mostly pregnant two year olds. They are all equipped with radio collars so they'll be closely monitored by Parks Canada. 

There was a leak of a private e-mail contact list from inside the B.C. Liberal Party. The Liberals say their website was hacked and a lsit of Liberal contacts was "stolen". They say they are going to seek a police investigation into the hacking. But Mike Smyth was able to get this list easily right on the Liberal website.  The Province newspaper's Michael Smyth is here with his take on the day's headlines.
