Welcome to the Jonathan Benaiah podcast where we talk about the earth, images, words, wildlife films and photography, and occasionally, music.

And this is critically pieced together to cater for the times that I am not in the office and on the road somewhere in a cottage at a safari lodge or basically out of town where I do not have the luxury of a workstation.

On Saturday 3rd September 2022, we, a team of tourism content creators, will venture out on a motorised traditional canoe into the papyrus maze that forms the famed Mabamba Swamp, hoping to see the Shoebill and many more feathery treasures as they lightly skip over the lily pads or hang on weightless leaves in this Important Bird Area (IBA). Be sure to tune in right on time as we lose sight of shore and venture deep into this Ramsar Site to test some of our newest audiovisual equipment, and just have fun. We will “try” to broadcast a combination of on-boat as well as aerial images to bring a close-to-intimate experience exclusively for your eyes and ears. Ask those burning questions and have them answered in real-time by one of Uganda’s expert bird guides, tune in and participate in the real search RAW, WILD and REAL. Experience the battles to overcome unreliable internet reception, and brave the sun with us all through the comfort of your phone, tablet, or computer. And if all goes well... we can all celebrate an amazing wildlife encounter.
