  • Why Christianity is Hated

Why is Christianity so unpopular? Let's examine how we understand ourselves, specifically our self-concept. This construct is fed from our introspection and social perception. Unlike the filtered feedback from our social media, Scripture offers a deeper introspection that cuts to our heart like a "two-edged sword" and reveals that "all things are bare unto Him." Jesus challenges our introspection, causing us to examine who we are in His light. Join us as we explore how being a Christian can be a challenge in today's world.

  • Saying Yes to God When Its Hard

Have you ever faced a difficult decision in following Christ? The book of Acts records when God asked Ananias to go and help Saul. The guy who persecuted the church and consented to the death of Stephen. The man who asked the High Priest for letters so that he could enter into synagogues and people's houses to persecute them. God asked Ananias to go to him. That was a tough decision and one that evoked a lot of emotion, but Ananias was faithful. When he went in and placed his hand on him, he called him "Brother Saul." What an amazing act of obedience. What do we do when Jesus calls us to face challenging situations? Join us as we talk about this faithful servant.

  • When A Blind Man Taught Others to See
What’s holding you back from sharing your faith? Is it the fear that you don’t know enough Scripture? Consider the blind man Jesus healed—he didn’t know theology or have verses memorized. In fact, he had been blind from birth. But when he was questioned, he simply said, “All I know is that I was blind, but now I see.” That was his testimony—and it was enough. When Jesus saved you, He gave you a story worth sharing. Your testimony is powerful. It's not about knowing everything—it's about sharing what He’s done in your life.

Many people choose to focus on certain aspects of Jesus that appeal to them. Some say, “I like the giving and healing Jesus,” or “I like the wealthy Jesus.” But who does Jesus say He is? Scripture tells us He is the King of Kings and Lord of Lords—our Redeemer and Savior. Jesus didn’t come to fulfill our personal desires; He came to redeem the world from sin. Join us as we take a deeper look at who Jesus truly is.

  • Hosea's Story: Obedience From Within A Storm

God calls us to righteousness, not comfort. Sometimes, we must learn to be comfortable with being uncomfortable. Hosea was called to be a prophet to Israel, demonstrating God's steadfast love through his relationship with his wife, Gomer. Their marriage was marked by her unfaithfulness and the painful reality of needing to redeem her from slavery. Yet Hosea's commitment mirrored God’s redemptive love—a love that rescues us from the bondage of sin and longs for a restored relationship with us. Join us as we explore how God calls us to be faithful in difficult times.
