Everything has been stolen from King David, yet we find this passage that says, “He strengthened Himself in the Lord.” He could’ve made the choice feel sorry for himself, but instead, he made a choice to get away and find strength. Facts are the facts but our choice will be determined by the meaning we put behind them. You don’t have to be stuck anymore.

So often we think of quality of life as something from outside. The problem with this is that you become a victim of outside forces. What is outside of you determines the quality of your life. But what if there’s a better way to live?

In Romans 14 Paul says, “I am convinced, being fully persuaded in the Lord Jesus, that nothing is unclean in itself. But if anyone regards something as unclean, then for that person it is unclean” So where do we draw the line of living free but not causing offense to a brother who doesn’t see the way we do?

Everywhere we go, there are always those that stop Jonathan and express their gratitude and thankfulness for the freedom they’ve received because of his teaching. But this is only the beginning. There is more.

When we lead people to the Lord, sometimes we miss the next step which actually brings a lot of the breakthrough from our past and that’s the baptism of the Holy Spirit. There’s a lot of healing that comes when He fills us in the deep places of our heart. Instead of years of therapy, we can get healed through the presence and power of the Holy Spirit in one encounter.

We’ve defined holiness as the things we do and that wrong definition of holiness makes us restrict our words, our clothing, our hair color, which is exactly what the Pharisees were concern with. It was a holiness that was outward. We have to move from a performance-based holiness to identity-based holiness.
