You can start on job sites, craigslist or production staffing websites. DISCLAIMER: BE VERY CAREFUL ON CRAIGSLIST. EXTREME CAUTION!! Reach out to production houses, filmmakers and videographers about their company. BUT DO NOT start the email off by asking for a job. "Hi, I'm looking to see if you have any openings." [DELETE] Offer that company something of value. What can you bring to the table? --- Driver's License It's a catch-22. You need one. Should that discourage you? Hell No! Don't knock it until you try it. What seems dumb or only for the teenagers might actually be the launch pad for your business or brand. 2) Become An Expert Not only should you try these platforms out but you should become somewhat of an expert in these platforms. Know how to upload Instagram stories, know how to advertise on Facebook, learn what a geofilter is. Only then can you say that this platform isn't right for your company. 3) Understand the Workflow When uploading content to this platform, does it match your workflow? Are there too many barriers to using the platform? Find this out. 4) Don't Use Followers/Subscribers/Likes as Metrics (At First) You cannot decide platforms based on vanity metrics. Having a month-old YouTube channel with only 10 subscribers DOES NOT mean that YouTube sucks. Focus on the vanity later.
