The Ace of Marvelous and one of the best in-ring performers in the world, Takumi Iroha, is the guest this episode.

This was recorded right after our interview with Chigusa Nagayo and because Eric wouldn't stop talking to Chigusa, our time with Takumi was cut a bit short.

The length of the podcast doesn't take away from how much fun we had chatting with her.

Takumi and other Marvelous wrestlers will be in San Francisco on May 13 for West Coast Pro Wrestling's Queen of the Indies.

Thank you to Derek Kolterman for interpreting!

威風堂々 (彩羽匠入場曲) - YouTube

There are Joshi wrestling legends and then there is Chigusa Nagayo.

From humble beginnings, Chigusa worked to become not only a wrestling star, but a pop icon in Japan. People that never watched wrestling know Chigusa Nagayo.

That's why it blows our minds that we have Chigusa on the podcast this episode.

We discuss her entry into the wrestling business and go all the way to her current position as owner of the Marvelous promotion.

Chigusa and some of her Marvelous team will be in San Francisco on May 13 for West Coast Pro Wrestling's Queen of the Indies.

Thank you to Derek Kolterman for interpreting!

ROLLING SABOT （Theme of CRUSH GALS） - YouTube

We are joined by another super talented member of Actwres girl'Z. The Champion, The Ace Miku Aono.

What idol group did she want to join when she was young?

Miku was so awesome to have on the podcast. We talk about her background in acting and how she transitioned to wrestling.

We chat about the similarities in the acting and wrestling business.

Miku also shares about some of the up-and-coming talent on the Actwres team!

Please excuse my voice as I had a terrible cold during the recording.

Please have a listen, you will enjoy it.

Thank you, Derek Kolterman for interpreting for us! We all sincerely appreciate it!

The intro is a little longer than normal. Skip ahead to about the 12 minute mark to get to the interview with Miku!

Wrestling #NeedsMoreNina and the Joshi Pod is here to give her to you.

We have a wonderful conversation about dancing, day jobs and her determination to make it in the wrestling business.

She was so giving with her time and it is really appreciated.Nina couldn't have been any better.

We don't get to do it often enough, but we always really enjoy chatting with wrestlers from the UK.

Enjoy #TheNinaSamuelsShow

So happy to have Crea from Pure J on the show. She is one of the rising talents in the Joshi scene right now.

We chat about her growing up in Nagoya and how she had a family friend who was involved with wrestling.

Crea discusses how she got involved in wrestling and what it has taken to get this far in her career.

She is so thoughtful with her answers and laughed at all of our terrible jokes.

Please have a listen, you will enjoy it.

It's the Fourth Annual Joshi Draft!

We are joined by JPQ from PWI’s “Just Joshi” podcast and JD from the 'RedLeaf Retrocast'.

Our rotating 4th person this year is Scott from Fightful, Voices of Wrestling, Wrestling Purist and a few other places. The guy is killing it!

We may have found our permanent fourth. We will have to bring on a fifth in 2024!

The draft is brought to you by PWRevolution x West Coast Pro's Queen of the Indies scheduled for May 13 in San Francisco, California. Tickets can be purchased at www.qoitickets.com!

The four of us select 10 Joshi wrestlers? No, not 11 or 12 Joshi wrestlers.

An audible is called during the draft and we each select 15 Joshi wrestlers and a legend to lead the team.

Well, three of us pick a legend and JPQ had a pick.

Who went number 1?

Who made the worst selection?

Were we idiots for not drafting someone?

Can The Joshi Pod repeat as champion?

You get to decide which roster is the best! A Twitter poll will be pinned to the top of The Joshi Pod's Twitter page.

We had a lot of fun doing this again and we hope you enjoy listening!

So happy to have Natsumi Sumikawa from Actwres girl'Z on the show.

We talk about her background before starting with Stardom her break because of injury and her triumphant return to Actwres girl'Z.

She was a big reason why I fell in love with Actwres girl'Z while I visited Japan.

Please excuse my voice as I had a terrible cold during the recording.

Please have a listen, you will enjoy it.

Thank you, Derek Kolterman for interpreting for us! We all sincerely appreciate it!

We will have more guests from Actwres girl'Z on the podcast in the future!
