The Journey to Eurosong 2025 continues! This year, six incredible artists will compete for the chance to represent Ireland at the Eurovision Song Contest 2025.

In this exciting mini-series, Conor, Lou, and Alex will dive deep into the songs vying for your vote and chat with the stars themselves ahead of the live show on The Late Late Show on February 7th.
In today's episode, we're joined by Irish music icon, Samantha Mumba! Samantha is an acclaimed Irish singer-songwriter, dancer, and actress who skyrocketed to international fame at just 17 years old with her debut single, 'Gotta Tell You'. The track became a global sensation, reaching the top five charts in Ireland, the United Kingdom, and the United States, where it climbed to No. 4 on the Billboard Hot 100. Her self-titled debut album sold over 4 million copies worldwide, cementing her as a major force in the music industry.
Demonstrating her creative versatility, Mumba seamlessly transitioned into acting, earning praise for her roles in an array of notable films. She starred alongside Guy Pearce in the sci-fi epic 'The Time Machine', charmed audiences in the Irish romantic comedy 'Spin the Bottle', delivered a gripping performance in the horror thriller *Shifter*, and shared the screen with Eriq La Salle in 'Johnny Was'.
In 2024, Samantha continues to captivate audiences with her recurring role as Paula Kenny in the fourth season of the critically acclaimed BBC/Acorn TV series 'Harry Wild', acting alongside Jane Seymour and Rohan Nedd. Additionally, she showcases her voice-acting talents as Jules in Queen Latifah’s Audible series, 'Technically Speaking'.
