Our mission as a church is to "see our city awakened and transformed by the love of Jesus." This is not some mantra to go "take the city for Jesus" but rather a dream of seeing God's kingdom on earth. But before we can see transformation and the kingdom taking root in our city it must take root in our us. This is why we seek to "become apprentices of Jesus by being with, being transformed by, and partnering with him." Essentially we seek to answer the same call that Jesus gave his disciples: "Follow Me". But make no mistake: The call to apprentice our lives to Jesus is costly. The best things in life often are. We lay down more than nets. We lay down preferences and plans. Dreams and desires. We place it all at the feet of King Jesus—and with open hands, we trust Him with what comes next. Jesus says, "Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves, take up their cross, and follow me. For whoever wants to save their life will lose it, but whoever loses their life for me will find it." Do you want what He has for you? Are you ready to follow Him?
