Christ doesn’t offer us a magic potion to alleviate our pain or hurts. What He does offer us is Himself. All He asks of us is our loneliness, our emptiness and our sin, nothing more and nothing less. He asks us to give up our idea of who we are and trust Him with our hearts. He wants us to have a heart that can relax in His peace and be satisfied there.
