Nehemiah encouraged the children of Israel by saying to them, that rather than mourning and weeping, they were better to live their life out of a place of victory, rather than defeat. He said to them, "go your way, eat, drink and give to those who have nothing." It was something my mother, who was a Pastor, did exceptionally well.  She lived and still lives out of a place of victory. The joy of the Lord that emanates from her, carries with it, a level of strength, that makes others feel safe and secure.  Her laughter and smile throughout my young life helped me in more ways than one.
