Kevin Howes (VIN) is a Grammy-nominated Producer and artist of settler/immigrant heritage, humbly and respectfully living + loving on Turtle Island. Contributing to and influencing the Canadian music scene since the mid-1990s, Howes has helped to share the many songs and stories featured on the landmark Native North America and Jamaica-Toronto series, realized through decades of research, travel, connection, and collaboration. His empathetic words have supported the recordings of Rodriguez, Thin Lizzy, Doug Randle, and Motown’s Mowest label, while The Guardian, CBC, NPR, and Rolling Stone have profiled his work. Howes is currently focussed on Voluntary In Nature, an organic outlet for sharing.
